Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Miro is being used by our company to help us clearly map out and brainstorm priorities, as well as use it as a living roadmap. We have leveraged the tool many times during cross-functional problem-solving sessions. This was especially helpful when we were all working from home and didn't have a whiteboard to work with, but is even better as we can continue to leverage it going forward.
Pros
- Clear, visual representations of interconnected work streams.
- Maintains a living document from a brainstorm session for future edits and reference.
- Enables easy collaboration through comments and stickies.
Cons
- Suggest improvements to the page layout so it can easily fit on a computer screen.
- Hide the comment logo when it is blocking text in a box.
- Improved productivity.
- Improved cross functional collaboration.
- Simplified maintenance of records from problem solving sessions.
During the pandemic when we were all working from home, we needed to kick off a 2021 planning process across multiple teams. Miro enabled us to run a brainstorming session across multiple time zones and with 20+ attendees in a very efficient manner. It was so successful, even once we were in office, we aligned on continuing to use Miro in person for our major planning sessions.
Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?
Yes
Are you happy with Miro's feature set?
Yes
Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?
Yes
Did implementation of Miro go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Miro again?
Yes
Google Jamboard is helpful for whiteboarding but was highly limited in the available area to work with. It was also much clunkier to use with multiple stakeholders. It was much harder to manage a problem-solving session as we had to jump between pages to see all of the content.
