Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro for collaboration within user interface design projects. Right now, we're using it within our branch of the organization but could see it being used companywide at a later time. For us, Miro allows us to collaborate remotely, in a similar way that we used to use whiteboards for brainstorming, workflow documentation, and ideation.
Pros
- Live collaboration with other team members.
- Flexibility in the organization of information.
- Easy to use.
Cons
- Sharing boards with others and sharing permissions.
- Selecting, grouping, and moving objects doesn't always work as expected.
- Accessing a board can be difficult depending on the permissions the owner has set.
- Improved productivity because of the live collaboration features.
- Allows our clients to work with us live vs. providing static feedback in a PDF.
- We've had to train some of our clients on how to use Miro.
It's been a great tool for allowing us to collaborate remotely during the pandemic. We start all of our projects with a Miro board now and it's been a great tool for generating ideas, collecting content, and documenting workflows.
