Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint

I use it for many things and now we have started using it for the alerts, which we receive from one of our scene products where we go ahead and review it. The second thing is we use it for phishing emails where we have installed the end endpoint and all the user's endpoint laptops where we use it to monitor all the phishing emails and take action over it.

Pros

  • I think we have this advanced Threat hunting, which is like you can query for whatever you want to search for. That's really nice.
  • We have this triggering investigation on the user's email where we literally cannot reach out to every user personally to know what is going on, but Defender does that by themselves and it just gives us a reserve, which is really great.

Cons

  • Basically we are working with Defender and Sentinel, so we are kind of getting alerts in both, but both are not syncing. I don't know whether it's our problem that we need to deal with or something, but the information which we get is not completely same or similar, so maybe, I don't know if there is any integration between them would be really very helpful.
  • It had a really good positive impact.
  • Other
I'm not involved in all these, so I don't know much about it.
I think I mentioned about the phishing and everything, right? It's all related to those users for those.
I'm not familiar. It's just been one year plus that I started using, so I've just started using Defender, so I really don't know how to compare it with others.

Do you think Microsoft Defender for Endpoint delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint's feature set?

Yes

Did Microsoft Defender for Endpoint live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Microsoft Defender for Endpoint again?

Yes

The most suited. I would say that for phishing it works very, very well. But when it comes to alert, I think integrating with the seam and investigating, it is a little confusing and it takes a lot of time if they're able to generate a small report, that would be really helpful for all the analysts.
