Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
We currently use it for two different things, antivirus and vulnerability findings.
Pros
- It identifies vulnerabilities pretty good with CVEs on the endpoints as well as the antivirus for Pandora. That's helped us a lot.
Cons
- One of the things that I've run into is how they eliminate CBEs, not include or exclude. We don't actually know how that process is, but we've noticed CBEs just don't show up because they're not included. That would be nice to know how that's done because it's the integrity of the database.
- It's supplemented our antivirus very well. We didn't have an antivirus for certain products and its compatibility, the broad scope of products that it covers helped. We didn't have to combine other products. As I said, the negatives would just be how often it changes the branding location of things. That's kind of frustrating.
- Integration with Other Systems
- Ease of Use
Compatibility, Ease of use, integrity of its database such as CVS. Applicable CVS, and that's why not having the CVS listed without explanation, that kind of race and integrity issue.
500. Linux, medora, windows right now.
