Overall Satisfaction with Lucidspark

We started using it to help us whiteboard and brainstorm projects. Currently it's being used by our IT and Engineering departments. It's been a great tool as most of my team is remote and it's a great way to collectively work on a flow. We'll use it to strategize and map out certain projects and it also makes it easy to share our ideas with other team members.

Pros

  • Collaboratively work on a board at the same time.
  • Good variety of shapes, colors, and tags to visually communicate ideas.
  • Easy to set up flowcharts.
  • Easy to share with other team members or external folks.

Cons

  • How-to video with examples when getting started.
  • Clicking on tags removes it, not the most intuitive.

If you're a technical person, I think it's very easy to jump in and get started. I've had decent experience in Lucidchart so it was very familiar to me from the get-go. With a quick tutorial, I think it's pretty easy to pick up. My boss is a baby boomer and at first he didn't really understand how to use any of the features, but once I walked him through how I use it and showed him each tool, he was adding sticky notes and shapes easily.
I haven't had to interact with Lucidspark's support as I have found it easy to use and haven't had any issues thus far. Our account rep sent us over some tutorials in the beginning which were very helpful.

We selected Lucidspark because we are currently Lucidchart customers and have enjoyed that product for years. Lucidspark seemed to make the most sense for us in terms of ease-of-use. We haven't used or evaluated other companies that have a similar product.
Lucidspark is great for collaborating and brainstorming with remote team members. We love using it on video calls to whiteboard our projects and flow charts in real time. It's really easy to jot down notes, comment on other team member's work, and keep adding to it just as your would with a real whiteboard. Even for team members who are not remote, it's still a great tool to be able to visualize and share our ideas.

Our team has been a Lucidchart customer for years before purchasing Lucidspark so it was easy for us to use as the UI of adding shapes and lines is very similar. If you don't have experience with Lucidchart prior to Lucidspark I can see it being a little difficult to get started.
