Overall Satisfaction with iSpring Suite

iSpring Suite allows our NFP organisation create its own small online course for training courses or policy updates that we can then easily convert to SCORM files to add to our LMS. It gives us the freedom to create content specific to our organisation with our own style guide and preferences.

Pros

  • Ease of use - it is very intuitive even for a novice user
  • Modern and fresh looking courses
  • Cost effective in what it delivers compared to other competitors

Cons

  • Have more pre populated designs to use
  • Create ability to add PDF and Documents to a slide
  • Function to merge other files into I spring to update old courses
  • Time efficient in getting courses created in timely manner
  • Saving on the budget
  • Higher employee engagement with training
After trialing other software for creating course content, some were more in depth and required a much higher level of training to begin to use the product. iSpring Suite I could jump right in and start creating after watching the tutorial videos. It was easy to find my way around the tools and buttons.
Captivate was, I feel, for my experienced users and for a more professional level of course that our organisation did not require at this time. It was too daunting to learn it all to create simple courses fast Easy Generator - too expensive for our needs. iSpring Suite has a similar feel and functions that made it easy to transition n to from Easy Generator.

For myself, as the main user of iSpring Suite, I enjoy its ease of use and intuitiveness and not being too complicated for what I require, which is to create quick and simple, yet visually catching course for the organisation. Also, the ability to transform the courses in to the correct file/package for our LMS is a big key.
