Overall Satisfaction with IBM Security Guardium

It's a solution that integrates tools that Protect the sensitive data of an organization. Different features of Guardium provide all customers need to inspect SQL Traffic and avoid data loss & also help both IT And compliance teams due to SQL inspection features and reporting tools. We don't have to take care of all SQL Traffic because Guardium also provides data classification; we can easily find the data that we want to categorize as sensitive.

Cons

  • Guardium Licensing is tricky.
  • Separate IP(s).
  • Troubleshooting issue with traffic monitoring.
  • Plenty of pre-written reports and queries.
  • IBM Guardium is incredibly adaptable and simple to scale—it's actually pretty resource-intensive.
  • The appliances VMware machines in our case, were pretty straight to be installed/deployed and roll-on in PROD.
Guardium was really easy to build, regardless of individual skills but sometimes it's tricky. Due to its ease of deployment When it comes to the analysis of events, IBM Guardium has A.I. for analysis of the anomaly of data. It will help you to study the pattern of your database and provide an anomaly score for your review.
