Primarily used for Dashboard and Report development with some level of self service capabilities.

IBM Cognos Analytics is our legacy BI solution. It hadn't stacked up well against its modern contemporaries. We are thinking of replacing it with Microsoft BI.

IBM Cognos Analytics does basic reports, dashboards, RBAC (Role Based Access Controls), active directory integration well. However, it lacks AI integration, lacks easy self service report and dashboard development for business users, needs new and refreshed charts and visuals.
