Overall Satisfaction with Gusto

We use it for our time clock, our tax deductions and tracking our time off. By doing so, it allows us to work remotely. it also allows us to edit our shifts if we forget to clock out. Additionally, we use it for our paystubs. Its much more efficient than other timeclock software I have used with other employers in the past.

Pros

  • Clock in an out
  • View accrued PTO and sick time
  • Tax documents and Payroll stubs.

Cons

  • App notifications at certain timestamps (IE sending notifications to the user phone after 8 hours so as to help avoid forgetting clocking out.)
  • Making the tax deduction process easier, it is initially confusing.
  • Initial enrollment is a bit confusing.
  • I am an employee, not an administrator.
It is generally user friendly and a friendly UI.
  • Intuit Online Payroll (discontinued)
Gusto is far mor efficient and user friendly than intuit was.

Yes

It is very useful for hourly, remote workers. It would not be useful in a commission based position other than tracking the actual amount of time and employee has on the clock.
