Overall Satisfaction with Gong
Gong is great to record your calls and review them later. We use Gong to record all our sales calls, with prospects and customers. With the tool, we can review calls and find key items that were missed, or recap calls without having to rely on memory. The transcript functionality helps you find key words/scenarios
Pros
- Records meetings using an automatic link
- Transcribes videos
- Allows for different playback options
Cons
- When you log into your Gong account, it automatically takes you to a page that I find is not necessary. I then have to find the correct page to search for calls
- It auto-populates what I am typing but is usually incorrect
- May take a while for the recording to be available
- Positive - allowed to review calls and find key points to focus on. Save time instead of having to review notes
- Positive - allowed to share recordings and notifying when the call has been reviewed. This means you can follow up in a timely matter
- Positive - Allows for managers to provide feedback
- Outreach
Currently we use Outreach for all our outbounding. The tool allows us to create email sequences, set up meetings and helps with customer profile when prospecting. We will be switching from Outreach to Gong next week and I am excited to see what the capabilities are to help with outbounding.
