Overall Satisfaction with Gong

We use Gong for a few things at Utility Cloud. We use it for prospect meetings, that way we don't have to take as many notes while on a call. We also use it for training purposes. It is very helpful to see what makes a good call versus a bad call.

Pros

  • provides transcripts of meetings
  • records meetings for future playback and training
  • automatically records them without having to think about it

Cons

  • sometimes the playback file doesn't work, but it is rare
  • price can be expensive
  • occasionally it gets the words wrong on the transcript
  • time savings
  • collaboration between departments
  • training purposes
Gong is very intuitive and easy to use. It automatically starts recording each meeting without having do any extra steps beforehand. The transcripts are easy to follow and send to other members of the team. It is a really great tool and I highly recommend it. If you can afford it I believe it has a very high ROI.

Gong is really great as a training tool. It is also very convienent to be able to go back and listen to the recording that way you don't miss anything when you are looking over your notes from a meeting. You can respond to them with all the information they are looking to hear about.
