Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use FloQast in our firm across several clients to manage month close and to improve our workflow and review process. It has become the software I rely on most to know the status of my client work each month. The longer you use it, the more benefit it gives you as you can see the analytics of the close on each of your clients to identify bottlenecks in the process.

Alternatives Considered

Netgain Technology and LLC

NetClose (from NetGain) is pretty similar and is also a great tool. For a single company that uses NetSuite, NetClose can be a great option, however FloQast has more features like ReMind and aurorecs that NetClose does not have. For a CAS firm, it is a no brainer though, FloQast connects to more accounting systems and that makes it the obvious choice.

Likelihood to Recommend

FloQast works well for midsized to larger companies, or CAS firms with several clients to manage. If you have an accounting department of 2-5 people then I think it becomes an ideal software to turn to when managing the close, and if you are using NetSuite it has great features to allow you to close different related companies in NetSuite at different times.
