Overall Satisfaction with F5 Distributed Cloud WAF (Web Application Firewall)
We are in the midst of launching the XC and WAF is one of the big tools that we are looking to that will justify the investment.
Pros
- Integrates with CE and RE load balancers
- Works with our other F5 tools well
- Allows automated policy imports
Cons
- One Major RFE would be to have a box on the Dashboard to enter a Support ID number rather than the 6 or 7 clicks it takes now to find the info
- Why did we rename Support ID in the req_id anyway?
- Not as much configuration options as I am used to in ASM
- Certainly speed of deployment is a big strong point of this product
- Also, I like that the apps are all integrated into one product rather than silo'ing them to separate F5s like the ASM typically is
