Exclaimer Cloud - Signatures for Office 365
Overall Satisfaction with Exclaimer
Exclaimer does exactly what you would expect, it adds a consistent signature to all emails sent out. This enables all devices to have the same signature and all users to have an email signature that complies with a standard template for everyone. Changes to signatures are much easier to manage and to implement as a simple update to user information propagates through or a complete redesign, all propagate to all applicable users without fuss.
Pros
- Centralized signature templates.
- Customizable fields for inclusion in the signatures.
- Very simple installation and configuration.
Cons
- Signatures are not applied to large emails (30MB+), you can get around this if you are using Outlook as there is an addon to do the signatures.
- It synchronizes with Azure instead of working life, so manual sync is sometimes needed. This is not difficult, but if you add a new user and do not sync, then it could be hours before the signature is applied to them.
- No one worries or talks about email signatures anymore; everyone knows it will just be right.
- The ability to add information to signatures that can be time-related, whether offers or holidays or any type of announcement, has made this a primary communication channel.
Multiple templates have enabled users who support certain charities and events to highlight them within the signature in a way that is consistent with the company's look and feel. Consistency is very important and the ease with which it is maintained by Exclaimer has eliminated any awkward discussions over supporting employees wanting to do the right thing and maintaining company standards.
We have had no issues with data security and have had no reason to question Exclaimer in this regard. The installer connects securely, and the emails are safely routed; so far, there has been no hint of issues from a data security point of view or from system loading; emails have passed through the system promptly every time.
