Overall Satisfaction with e-automate

We use e-automate to dispatch employees, create contracts, receive payments, enter invoices, pay invoices, create purchase orders, receive stock, ship stock, and monitor profitability per contract.

Pros

  • Creating contracts.
  • Service calls.
  • Equipment inventory.

Cons

  • Can't see how much is in my cash accounts (checking) like QuickBooks.
  • Assets and depreciation adjustments per tax return.
  • Owners basis per tax return.
  • The e-automate will stop working if we stop paying each year. We chose not to go to the cloud and buy the software. QuickBooks and other software are a one-time fee.
  • E-automate has very few outside vendors for add-on modules.
  • The vendors that do have modules are costly.
E-Automate is the industry standard for contract management, but it lacks the ease of editing transactions and the drill-down features of QuickBooks.

Do you think e-automate delivers good value for the price?

No

Are you happy with e-automate's feature set?

No

Did e-automate live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of e-automate go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy e-automate again?

Yes

The Tax Accountant had adjustments per tax return that the asset module would not allow. We had to unlock accounts and override protections to get the adjustments into the books.
