Overall Satisfaction with Druva inSync

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are using Druva to back up our laptops as well as our Office 365 environment company-wide. We like its ease of use and management, and much of the administration is self-explanatory. We have tested both backups and restores and both have worked flawlessly. Both processes are swift and work well.

Pros and Cons

Pros

It uses cloud storage which allows flexibility.
It can be integrated with Office 365 for SSO.
Unlimited storage.

Cons

I like it the way it is, there are a lot of options to cater to our back up needs
Configuring SSO can be difficult
Technical support can be hard to understand at times

Return on Investment

It is really handy when migrating a user to a new system or replacement system.
It gives Admins and users peace of mind that their data is being backed up
In case of litigation issues we have a solution in place.

Alternatives Considered

Carbonite Recover

Druva inSync is better, cleaner, and is easier to use.The price is quite reasonable and it is a better known product in the IT community.

Implementation Rating

Implementation was straight forward. We needed help from support and they provided the help needed. I will give it a 9 since I don't think there is anything that is a perfect solution.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is well suited for any type of mix of Windows/Mac/Linux environments since there is a client for each. Also being able to use it on mobile devices is a plus. Users never have to worry about deleting files since restore is only a click away.

Using Druva inSync

Users and Roles

200 - Basically the entire organization from engineering, to sales, finance, legal, marketing, executives, even remote users. There is no person in our compnay that does not use the product. Even the IT team uses it and we like it very much. We feel it is the best back up software there is.

Support Headcount Required

4 - You basically need to know how to use the internet. And you need to know how to type words and umbers. And know how to use a mouse. It's pretty much that easy.
