Overall Satisfaction with CodeSignal

I take CodeSignal tests for interviews with other companies.

Pros

  • It gives me questions which I then answer
  • It gives numerical score calculations for my overall performance
  • It is linked with other companies, allowing them to quickly see scores from previous CodeSignal assessments

Cons

  • Questions could be more difficult: it's trivial to get all four of the correct and I think it could benefit from being more of a power test
  • The proctoring option is important as that means fewer online assessments
  • Not really any real impact for me: I didn't get hired at any places which use a CodeSignal

If a company asks you to complete a CodeSignal assessment, then it's extremely well-suited for that interview process. If you are not asked to complete an assessment there, there is no reason to touch it.
