Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Catalyst Switches

Campus network and datacenter network

Pros

  • Switch ethernet frames
  • Supports packet captures easily
  • Looks nice

Cons

  • It should be possible to install them flushed with the rack front
  • They should all support both RJ45 and USB console cables
  • There has been too many caveats hindering\breaking ISSU
  • You have to ask the blue collars
