We use Adobe Workfront on the intake for all projects within our line of business. We assign the work, track the progress, and track our house since we are a billable internal agency.

Project Plans could be incorporated within the templates or through kick-start
The data on the side panel could be customized a bit more
The proofing feature is not conducive for larger projects and a lot of approvers

I think Adobe Workfront is user friendly. I think for our lines of business, we have a lot of Project Managers who use very large and lengthy project plans using Smart sheet to track progress. Workfront should have kick-starts for project plans.
