Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Experience Manager
We use Adobe Experience Manager to cloud host our site, using the SPA editor and react components. We host assets in the dam and use content fragments and experience fragments to drive some parts of our site.
Pros
- Adds the ability to dynamically change and launch content without the need for deployment
- Has built in exposed content APIs for easy retrieval of data or content
- Allows the ability to have developers add on our extend functionality
Cons
- Giving users the ability to alter Templates and policies is nice, but it can be finicky and can often lead to bugs
- I think the Content Fragment template creator could allow for more robust form options out of the box, so developers don't have to override configurations
- Turnaround speed for content changes dramatically decrease with using a cms
- With great power comes the possibility to cause issues as well.
- Quicker content launches equals better conversion numbers when utilizing a/b tests
- Shopify and Craft
