Feel secured. Adobe Acrobat DC Will Protect You and Your PDFs
Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat DC
Adobe products have been a part of my life since I first entered the design industry. I am a frequent user of Adobe Acrobat DC. To create multiple PDFs and edit them, I use the full version of Acrobat Pro DC. Pro DC has some features that Standard cannot, such as redacting to permanently remove sensitive information. Although there are ways around it, using Acrobat Pro DC is more convenient than mickey-mousing the PDF to accomplish it. Pro DC allows you to do more but I feel much more secure with its security features compared to other horror stories you can read with other online PDF apps.
Pros
- redacting to permanently remove sensitive information
- secure and optimize PDFs
- certificate-based signatures
- Adobe Approved Trust List
- capture signature on mobile and use it everywhere
- validating digital signatures
Cons
- Cost. Although the Adobe Acrobat DC is part of the Adobe Creative Cloud Subscription, the cost can always be better for other individuals, businesses, and educational uses.
- security
- one-stop shop for editing
- 200% positive impact on ROI. Security is the top feature for my clients. Acrobat Pro DC application involves customizing security features to protect against vulnerabilities, malicious attacks, and other risks it's a no-brainer.
- Content security involves the use of product features to protect the integrity of PDF content. Safeguard against the unwanted alteration of PDFs, keep sensitive information private, prevent the printing of PDFs, and so on.
10+. There is no other application I would use if given the choice. In one of my other consultations, one of the businesses had to merge multiple-single PDFs into one document. Not only did I suggest Adobe Acrobat Pro DC but another user asked the same thing. The business did not have it and was using a questionable online tool. I brought up the privacy issue policy to security features of the online application, and they realized how potentially dangerous this could be. Consequently, the business decided to purchase Adobe Creative Cloud as well as part of its operations.
