Zola Suite is a reliable tool for multifaceted law firm management.
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We use Zola Suite as an everyday tool to record billable hours, document client services, monitor staff activities, monitor staff billing, generate invoices, and make sure new matters don't fall through the cracks. Since the notes are searchable, we are also able to mention certain contacts for certain matters and then pull up that information later, as needed. It's actually faster than Salesforce for some of those sorts of tasks.
Pros
- Provide me with instant list of assignments.
- Easily record billable hours.
- Monitor the work of colleagues whom I supervise.
Cons
- The email integration feature has never consistently worked.
- I can't toggle easily between viewing all time and just my time, have to use the filters.
- Pulling reports to capture certain notes/details not perfected yet.
Most Important Features
- Billable hours tracking.
- Ability to pull reports for each assigned attorney.
- Ability to enter details in the notes section.
Return on Investment
- Collections have been better overall.
- Verifying staff work has been made much easier, potentially leading to more efficiencies.
- The software itself is costly.
