We develop databases of potential decisionmakers for sales/marketing departments who are implementing Account-Based Marketing. Because these databases are an integral part of their sales and marketing campaigns it is critical that they are as close to being 100% accurate as possible. Particularly critical are the e-mail addresses, as e-mails are the primary method our clients stay in constant communication with their prospects. Companies who demonstrate high bounce rates or spam are greylisted which means their e-mails to their customers don't get delivered and end up in the spam folder. My reputation depends on us creating databases that our clients depend on. We use ZeroBounce to make sure we deliver quality databases 100% of the time.
Pros
Ease of use.
Speed of checking databases.
Cons
Will detail is good, could always be better regarding identifying specifics of database issues.
Would love an app to check progress or reports on the go.
Likelihood to Recommend
We use it in combination with another resource to check e-mail quality of databases before delivering the finished product to our client, by using a two-step process we consistently deliver databases with 100% accuracy. We have found that it is critical to use this two-step approach to ensure 100% accuracy. We have tried short cuts and ended up disappointed with the results.
One of my main job functions for the last 5 years is generating databases for outbound prospecting, and ZeroBounce among other tools is a fundamental tool for this task. It helps me clean the quality of the emails in my databases, as well as rank the ones that are catch all
Pros
Catch All Ranks
Single Email Verification
Bulk Email Verification
Cons
The Catch-All function for Latin America companies
The new Catch-All tool timing
The Output file (I prefer a single .xlsx than a .zip)
Likelihood to Recommend
The tool works very well for validating emails from companies in both the US and Latin America, as well as for ranking catch all emails in the US. However, its performance is poor when ranking catch all emails in Latin America, it tends to deliver poor results (providing very few emails). I also dislike the format in which the results are delivered; it provides a zip folder with too many files when a single Excel file would be enough
ZeroBounce is probably one of the best email verification tools that I have used. They have so many different features and I have never taken, I have never gotten bounced emails from one of their lists and I absolutely love it. So if you can sit and sign up for ZeroBounce, I totally would.
Pros
Email Verifcation
Email Warmup
Domain Checks
Cons
I would like to be able to get more email warmups for a better price

Whenever I get a list that I scrape offline, once I clean it up with just some basic things, then I always run it through ZeroBounce and I've had very good success with it. One of the things, I think it's a little bit more expensive than some of the other tools, but I think it makes up for it and its quality and how it works. It's very easy to use. I also like the subscription model. The only thing that's kind of a problem is it's just kind of expensive sometimes, but I think you make up for it.
We use ZeroBounce to validate email IDs of our target prospects. The business problem the product addresses is weeding out bad contacts/bad emails from our outreach emails which improves deliverability, reduces bounce rate. Additionally we then check for new companies for those prospects and update email IDs accordingly. Scope of use case is limited to marketing and sales emails.
Pros
Detailed description of why a particular email ID is bad
Larger database of emails
Integration with Salesforce
Cons
It should tie up with database vendors like ZoomInfo and Apollo
There still lie a majority of "catch-all" emails which need to be reduced to either valid or invalid emails
Pricing could be improved for SMBs trying to scale up

ZeroBounce is well suited for organizations with 10k+ contacts and/or leads whom the organization targets with bulk as well as outreach emails. It is less appropriate for those organizations which rely on word-of-mouth or referrals inctead of cold/intent based outbound and also less apt for companies which do not send regular emails.
