We used Yellowfin to create reports and panels with maps. Integrated Yellowfin with predictive analytical tools that are ideal for creating rich applications for end-users. Key features used are dashboards, predictive analytics, query, and reporting writing. We are using it to connect multiple data sources in it to help users effectively.

The Yellowfin BI solution was our preferred choice in our journey to source an ideal BI partner for our RUBIQ GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) solution. Yellowfin checked all the boxes for us in terms of flexibility and adaptability to our environment and requirements, in embedding capability and white labelling of the product to provide us with a seamless BI platform supporting our GRC suite of the RUBiQ modules for our end clients. Furthermore RUBiQ is a cloud GRC solution offering and Yellowfin adapted to meet our multi-tenant requirements within our cloud environment. Living as we do in an age of information, enabling access to validated and verified information for critical decision making is an absolute must in any decision maker’s tool kit. The problem is that often information is disbursed and siloed within most organisations, leaving a lot of gut feel and guess work to do on the part of the decision maker. On top of this, a great deal of information in organisations today, still ends up being manually compiled and distributed in Word documents and Excel spreadsheets, this can allow for personal opinions and alteration of information for the "innocent purpose of showing the good and softening the bad" when reporting to executives. Unfortunately decision makers need all the key critical information, as real time as possible, to formulate an accurate picture to take key actions to circumvent and prevent crisis related situations.
