Workable is used by the Talent Acquisition team within the HR function as well as the Hiring team to coordinate and conduct interviews. Workable offers a world class Applicant Tracking System which takes care of all the recruitment task from defining a job description to posting it at hundreds of job boards, conducting the interviews over video calls, and finally the onboarding of the hired candidate. It is backed by the cutting edge Artificial Intelligence recruiting platform which allows us to reach not only the active potential candidates but also the passive ones.
Pros
One can literally hire people without even opening their laptops. The mobile apps are present across Android and iOS devices and are powerful enough to get all the work done.
Customer support is at the next level. It's the best I have seen so far for any technical vendor.

Cons
Capability to search the job descriptions, archived posts, and resumes needs to be drastically improved.
No feature to see if the candidate has applied for other roles in the past in the organization and how [they] fared then.
Employees should have a way to track the status of their referred candidates.

Workable is great at creating job posts and posting them to multiple job boards with a single click and also running paid campaigns on social media platforms to reach passive candidates as well. Workable has a friendly UI and has a very gentle learning curve. It is more appropriate for larger organizations where you need to hire thousands of people a year and need to always have a pipeline of great talent.
The recruiting department uses it to keep track of candidates and allow hiring teams to be part of the talent acquisition process more fluidly. It is also where the hiring team leaves feedback for candidates after they come in for on-site interviews. It helps recruiting and various other departments to work together easily on open requisitions.

For feedback to not be seen by the whole team you need to create a feedback huddle (internal meeting per candidate) within the application.
Being able to see what other applications the candidate has applied to within company history.
Having an easier way to store old requisitions would be nice.

Workable is best used when in relationship with talent acquisition. Other platforms don't always give those outside of HR access to open requisitions to see candidates and doesn't always let feedback be left. However, Workable has both those functions which make it work the best for our needs in the hiring process.
