Webex Meetings has become a very critical tool in our organization, with a large number of employees, most of them are always on the field, there was a need to have a tool that would enable proper communications among employees. Webex Meetings has been able to bridge the geographical gap in our meetings. Before this tool, we had to organize on-premise meetings, which would take a long time since we had to wait for participants to travel far and wide, but, since we started using this tool, we only conducted meetings virtually more efficiently thanks to Webex Meetings. With Webex Meetings, we have been able to save a great amount of time and resources.
Pros
It has a user-friendly interface that anyone can use.
It has a wonderful video and audio quality.
It provides features for the scheduling of meetings.
Cons
A little bit costly, they should make prices more competitive.
Webex Meetings should allow more information to be seen by participants because currently that's not provided.
The scheduling feature sometimes is not automatic making you have to enter an ID manually.

Webex Meetings is a tool that suits organizations with large employees (like ours) well. When there are geographical gaps between participants, Webex Meetings comes in handy and bridges the distances. Webex Meetings has made it easier to train new employees in our organization and also engage new clients with so much ease. The major thing that is outstanding is its ability to share screens to solve any problems collaboratively.
We use it basically for online meetings. Due to the COVID situation, employees are advised to work from home. But business needs to continue at all cost. And as a matter of fact, we still need to share information and knowledge. We use Webex Meetings for this purpose. Once installed, Webex Meetings makes hosting, joining, and sharing meetings as simple as ABC. Whether you’re new to Webex Meetings or a Cisco veteran, we navigate through the app pain free thanks to the user-friendly interface. You can jump on a call, join a stand-up, or quickly hunt down a message you sent two months ago — all on the same platform.
Pros
Noise cancelling
Perfect resolution
Audible voice
High latency
Cons
This solution is costlier than some other competing online collaboration platforms
According to some users, the system menu and user interface are not that friendly
Transitioning from legacy Webex platforms to this cloud-based version is cumbersome

High-quality bi-directional video (where both the attendee and the presenter have their camera on) is an absolute requirement for every Webex meeting. It’s how you understand the presenter’s emotions and how presenters know that their participants are engaged. Webex Meetings has a video-centric experience, but all too often, people don’t fully utilize it.
Webex Meetings has enabled our team to work effectively during the pandemic Lockdown. We were able to collaborate, whiteboard, and deliver presentations just like the physical office environment. I have used many different [software] for video conferencing but the features that Webex Meetings offers are unmatched. [An] additional offerings like 10GB of cloud storage and up to 1000 participants are far more than what competitors offer.
Pros
Webex Meetings allows us to attend the meeting in the browser itself instead of downloading their application which is extremely useful.
Webex Meetings tool is user-friendly and helps in audio, video meetings, and as well in chat with other users. The customer support team is readily available and very supportive.
Webex Meetings provides the choice between an audio conference and [a] video conference which you can decide at any time.
Cons
Webex Meetings consumes more RAM and [processors] in laptops than other applications available in the market.
High bandwidth requires to connect from mobile application.
I like the ability to share the screen during the troubleshooting call with the vendor and can provide remote control to TAC.

Webex Meetings provides a seamless experience switching from a call into a video. I like the availability of multiple options to post queries in the meetings. Additionally, I like the fact that I don't have to install software to use Webex Meetings, just an extension on Chrome works amazingly.
We use Webex as our meeting and collaboration tool for all employees across the organization. We also use it for video conferences between all staff too. And, meetings with external contacts and vendors. It builds on top of the Cisco VOIP phone system we use and works fantastic for all of our collaboration needs.
Pros
Video Conferencing
Video and audio meetings with internal and external contacts[.]
Screen and document sharing
Training opportunities
Remote support for staff in-office and at home[.]
Cons
Calling into a Webex from a cell phone is problematic and difficult due to dial options required [post-call] in[.]
[Screen] share options for video conferences are not fully baked yet. some enhancements are needed to set video layout options from the presenter perspective[.]
[Tool] bar options are a bit clunky to navigate[.]

Staff meetings, video conferences, and large group meetings this is the best application out there for collaborating. For planned and scheduled meetings this works great too. Video and audio quality when you have a full-service Cisco environment this works great in. For non-Cisco telephony businesses, this may not be the best solution for all collaboration requirements. This works best with all Cisco equipment configurations. For quick ad-hoc meetings, other platforms can be as good or better suited depending on needs. Webex is a little more expensive than competitors from my perspective but again we have other Cisco systems so this works well with them. And, having other Cisco products does help drive the per-user cost down on purchase and renewal.

Initially we started using Webex Meetings as internal and external meeting and collaboration tool. With time and as we switched to O365, Teams slowly replaced Webex Meetings for internal short calls however it IS still irreplaceable for bigger audience and external meetings. Webex Meetings level of control, invitations, integrations with Cisco conference systems, live tools like pools, Q&A is simply top notch and still unique on the market.
Pros
Control level (open close meetings, lobby, invitations).
Big audience events and streams.
Intuitiveness.
Cons
Short calls and short collaborations.
Internal dictionary integrations.
Likelihood to Recommend
Intuitive and easy to use tool.

We frequently used Skype but had many issues and difficulties arise, we decided as a company to take larger meetings to use Cisco Webex and it has been a great experience. Very smooth and no downtime.
Pros
Ease of calendar invite and organization.
Groups of large people, streams flawlessly.
Easy to share presentations and transfer control of screen.
Cons
The GUI is minimal, could be expanded a little bit.

Cisco Webex is great for larger organizations that has meetings or presentations across either a LAN or WAN. It is not limited to only people within the organization as our previous vendor Skype.

Cisco Webex is being used in our company for several years. Currently it is mostly used to hold 'webinars' and large meetings. Webex is very stable and usually the quality of the connections and meetings are really great. Better than a lot of competitor platforms. It is very complete and user-friendly, so users usually don't require much assistance to schedule and to hold their meetings.
Pros
Meetings, video conferencing, webinars.
Sessions recording.
Stability and audio/video quality.
Easy to use.
Cons
It could have an entirely web-based version.
More control over the meeting participants.
Likelihood to Recommend
In our days, where most part of the people is working from home, it is very well suited to almost everyone. It is a very handful and friendly platform for video conferencing, webinars, chats, etc. It is very reliable and stable and the overall quality of sound and video is excellent.

Cisco Webex Meetings is currently used as an alternative to Microsoft Teams, when it is either down or doesn't support too much people in the same room. Also it is sometimes used to connect to people from outside the company. Screen sharing or seeing the screen of external invitees are the most important features used among others like video conferencing and audio calls.
Pros
Supports many people connected in the same room.
Screen sharing, audio and video calls.
Ability to take control of screens or give control.
Members interactions - raise hand.
Ability to cut off members microphone.
Cons
Though screen sharing is much appreciated it has performance issues, such as some delays when somebody needs to remote control screens.
Microphone sometimes gets loud, and even changing settings, increasing volume, it goes down again by itself.
There are no integrations with other communication platforms like Microsoft Exchange.
Likelihood to Recommend
Cisco Webex Meetings tool is well suited when you have to make a presentation to a large audience. People can easily join the meeting via a link, install an optional application or even join from the website. It's less appropriate for small daily meetings and to support users (help desk) because the remote control feature is limited and slower than in other tools.
