In TrustRadius reviews, Webex Meetings is widely adopted across organizations to facilitate a comprehensive range of internal and external meetings, connecting geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders. Reviewers consistently highlight its robust audio and video capabilities, ensuring clear and reliable communication even for large groups, along with high accessibility from various devices and locations. Tools like screen sharing, virtual backgrounds, and AI-driven features further enhance productivity and engagement.
Emerging positives include its ability to reduce operational expenditures and business travel, alongside improved internal collaboration for global teams. However, some reviewers find the user interface complex, and 40% note limitations within the mobile application. Pros
Robust audio and video quality for meetings, even with large groups
High accessibility from mobile devices and various locations
Effective tools for meeting engagement, including polling, Q&A, and co-host assignments
Convenient recording and transcription features for documentation
Reduces operational expenditures and business travel costs
Cons
User interface can be complex, particularly for new users
Limitations and lack of intuitiveness within the mobile application
We basically use it for all of our meetings now. We got away with Zoom, so we use it for meetings in our company together outside of our company, in our own department. So pretty much for anything that we need to do a meeting with, that's how we use it at this moment.
Pros
I feel like the ability to connect from your phone or from your computer in the car, wherever you need to be. It's very easy to be able to be in a meeting even if you're not at your workspace.
Cons
Honestly, in the time I've used it, I can't really think of anything that I haven't liked about it compared to some of the other products we use. It is way better than I have used. So I can't really think of anything at this moment that I would say.

I think any organization with a lot of employees where you need to outsource or talk to different businesses or even use yourself, talk to people in your own company or outside your company. It's very well suited. We've even had discussions with people in other countries, so it's very well suited for that. Thinking about how we used it, I can't think of a way it's not suited. I haven't had the experience to know when we might use it that it might not be okay to use. I don't have experience in that.
We use WebEx across our multi-academy trust mainly to bridge the gap between peripatetic workers and provide remote education access for pupils who cannot physically attend one of our schools. WebEx offers an intuitive solution that is accessible on all platforms and molds around our needs.
Pros
Accessible across common OS platforms.
Full suite of remote meeting tools.
Fast system performance.
Cons
Windows Client download via MS Edge.
Simpler virtual backgrounds during meeting.
Simpler management from the control hub.
Likelihood to Recommend
Some of our multi academy trust central staff rely on different products to carry out meetings (typically teams). Since using WebEx meetings, our users have reported a greater confidence in hosting remote meetings, and some have used more advanced features such as carplay integration and wearable tech.

We facilitate various learning sessions using Webex Meetings. Webex Meetings allows connection with a broader audience, as well as the ability to reach larger amounts of people. We currently use Webex Meetings on demand based on the needs of our clients. We have a dedicated group of clients who request Webex Meetings specifically, who rarely use other virtual platforms.
Pros
Sharing documents or screens
App use is similar to online version
Meeting recording and transcription
Recording Session and transcriptions
Chat functions - Saving, individual and group chatting
Cons
Breakout rooms can be clunky on some web browsers.
Lag when sharing screens.
Video and audio can be choppy on app if not in optimum wireless environment.
improve AI assistant use
Improve use of whiteboards and saving of whiteboards
Integration of sharing on social media

I think basic meetings are great for Webex Meetings. Best when there is less sharing, or only 1 presentation sharing with no sharing multiple documents or whiteboards. I also think it's less appropriate when there are multiple breakout rooms, or where there is a need for creating different types of breakout rooms that need to be created.
Webex Meetings is a very powerful tool for collaboration and communication. We use it in my organization to promote our digital workplace and to work with teams in several locations.
I have used it as a host with my Webex Personal Room for getting people at different timezones connected: short status meetings up to extended workshops 2-3 days. I've used most of the features available from collaborating, sharing content, inviting participants, connecting to external video devices, and chatting privately and publicly, and managing contributions through raised hands is helpful. When attending as a normal participant in educational training, I have also shared feedback by filling out the post-webinar survey. In both roles, I would highlight the possibility of removing background noise since I used to take notes and sometimes the keyboard typing could be a distraction for others; as well as having the possibility to mute other attendees when are distracted or unintentionally have opened their mics. The 3 versions work amazing, desktop, web, and mobile, moreover this latter is pretty intuitive and loads quickly in comparison with other applications.

Drawing on the screen is the greatest feature when several people contributing, for instance, on a workflow diagram to add notes or make corrections
Cons
It has been hard for me to manage the menu bar, the transparency and some other floating effects help but it would be great to setup a default configuration on screen sides for the differents bars at the profile level
When there are several people with their hands raised play a sound that calls the attention of the host/moderator in case have missed them
Adding an option to take screenshots when there are some drawings on the screen and attach them to the meeting recording folder/files

Webex Meetings is well suited for training, workshops, and collaborative sessions with large audiences and is located in different locations around the world, i.e., international certifications training. The less ideal scenarios I've experienced are: kick chats or catch-ups are better with lighter tools or when I've connected from areas with limited bandwidth, the meeting with a heavy multimedia ends in a bad experience.

We use Webex Meetings for hosting online classes in overcast conditions when students cannot travel to school. We also use it occasionally to host virtual training sessions for teachers with trained professionals who cannot travel to our institution. The teachers also use it for collaborating with fellow colleagues and working together on creating question papers etc. The weekly meetings with the director and higher ups are also organised on Webex Meetings due to its safety and security. Overall, Webex Meetings is helping us in communicating and collaborating both with the students and teachers seamlessly from the comfort of our homes.
Pros
Excellent video and audio quality
Lag-free screen sharing with annotation feature
Host options like muting/unmuting participants, switching their video on and off, etc
Clean UI with mobile, desktop and web compatibility
Meeting recording feature
Integrations with other Webex products like Slido for user engagement
Cons
Expensive pricing
Video lags a lot when internet bandwidth is low
Consumes a lot of system memory
Likelihood to Recommend
Webex Meetings is well suited for small and mid enterprises who are looking for a remote communication and collaboration tool to get rid of communication barriers. It is not suited for large enterprises since the video and audio lags a lot when there are a huge number of engaging participants.
Used for faculty to meet online with their students. Addresses the need to connect and presentation educational materials/concepts.
Pros
Provides video
Good audio
sharing digital content
Cons
Improvements in the users experience
ease of joining meeting
making chat available while sharing your screen
Likelihood to Recommend
Well suited for one to many presentations, smaller meetings and connecting in-person conference room with online attendees. Harder to use for classes with many attendees.
