Give your demos superpowers
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We use Walnut as our demo platform. It mimics live demos without the risk of something failing. It also keeps our demos up to date without requiring a designer. It ensures we're showing customers the closest approximation of what our tool looks like while tailoring it to their needs. We also send it to customers post-demo.
Pros
- Relatively easy to create demos
- Analytics
- Sharing
Cons
- Some of the UX around the demo creation is still a bit janky. For example, your work does not save automatically - you need to be constantly saving it or all your work will be lost.
- The organization of all of the demos is improving, but things still get lost.
- Ideally it would be easier to replace certain attributes in bulk.
Most Important Features
- Easy ability to create and edit demos
- Demo customization
- Analytics
Return on Investment
- Previously, our demos were often out of date. This led to less satisfied customers buying things that weren't quite what we had. Customers now have a better idea of what to expect.
