We are using Vultr as a VPS for our demo environment for shwocasing our UCAAS solutions to customers . The ability to manage the environment and the low latency of access as well as the uptimes and 360 degre connectivity makes it an ideal demo environment .
Pros
The uptime is perfect . If there are any downtimes it is well informed and its in non - production hours to ensure that the systems are not hit
Accessibility and the dashboard is amazing where you have full control over the VPS system.
The flexibility of OS on which to create your VPS is also amazing .
Cons
The response times for support tickets is too high and a quicker response time would be appreciated
Availability of the VPS solution in Middle east and Africa would help
Abilito to connect SIP trunks would make it more easy to run active communictaion platforms on Vultr
Likelihood to Recommend
The uptime in Vultr is good for the price that we pay for .
We provision VMs using API integration across many countries.
Pros
Affordable hosting for bandwidth intensive apps
API based automation
Provisioning from images
Cons
Using custom domains for the remote KVM
Webhook events for VM events
Likelihood to Recommend
Great for deployment of VMs programatically. Less ideal when it comes to building automation around fault tolerance (webhooks will help here, like let me know when a VM has a state change etc)
We use Vultr to host servers that we want to have higher reliability compared to our other providers. Their commitment to uptime is great, and their price is competitive. If for instance we wanted to get similar quality in AWS we would be paying a lot more. Vultr offers a great price/quality ratio.
Pros
Well price
Quality servers
Uptime
Speed
Cons
Bring down prices
Better database scaling
Planet scale databases
Likelihood to Recommend
If you want to have very good uptime for a cluster or a service, Vultr is the way to go. If you want pur compute power at a lower uptime some other competitors will be better priced. We use Vultr only for critical services and other providers for the hard compute.
A number of my companies have bare metal machines with Vultr. It's one of the best companies I have seen that support this for a reasonable price, which allows us to offer a great service at a reasonable price to our customers and clients.
Its likely we'll move additional services there as they have since released a number of services that will help us in our core goals.
Pros
Bare metal servers
Great pricing
Support
Cons
A better control panel with more stats/data about the servers you're running
Likelihood to Recommend
If you need secure bare metal servers and you have the technical expertise to setup and manage them then Vultr is a great fit.
If you're new to the game and don't have as much experience then they have a more comprehensive feel which may require more training.
We use Vultr for the creation, testing and launch of production environments for web hosting services. By creating instances we can quickly set up specific sizes according to the type of scenario and independent usage of each service. Vultra has provided us with the ease of doing this almost instantaneously through a user friendly interface.
Pros
Support
Server availability
multiple instance sizes.
Cons
backups for dedicated servers
upload and create custom snapshots
Notification of server downtime
Likelihood to Recommend
Highly recommended for critical services where you need the servers to remain operable.I would not recommend it in scenarios where the budget is very tight.
We needed an affordable solution to provide an online presence consolidating the data from two on-premises systems. Combined with a software for remote access, our client can now visualize the data easily. We have another system to provide potential customers a platform to evaluate whether our software solution would be advantageous to them financially in terms of ROI. Again, Vultr provided an affordable platform.
Pros
ease of configuration
easy way to pay and to check billing
affordable platform for small businesses
a variety of choices to select what i need and only what i need resulting in savings
Cons
better way to handle crashed VM
automate rebooting process
notifications of problems affecting the VM beyond network issues.
Likelihood to Recommend
the business model is very suitable to small business which do not need the complexity or the cost of AWS or Azure. I can imagine that it is probably not the best solution when security trumps cost. Same when the system needs to answer numerous concurrent transactions.

I tried Vultr last year and have since moved all 5 of my virtual machines. Their pricing is fair, the network and NVMe hardware is the fastest I've experienced out of all hosting companies I've used. I also recently switched from AWS S3 to Vultr's Object Storage. Truly a great company. Customer support is fast to respond, it's easy to set up a VM, their web interface is great, and the best part of all is I love the monthly cost!
Pros
Virtual Machines
Object Storage

I already have recommended Vultr to friends. I have a friend who is just getting started in web development and he had no problem getting set up. I've also recommended Vultr to friends with existing VMs to move them over.
We are a technology solutions company, we use Vultr daily to stand up cloud instances, to deploy new products, to test new ideas, and as part of our disaster recovery solution. We have servers in most of the locations that Vultr offers, so we can place sites and apps close to customer locations, especially if 90% or more of their traffic is local to their business.
Pros
Availability
Quick Deployment
Customer Service
Cons
I don't have anything I would want Vultr to do differently.
I hope they don't change anything.

I've recommended Vultr to all of my colleague's, and all of my colleagues are using Vultr in some capacity or another. Vultr is a great tool for software developers to use, its a great solution for small business and start ups and even for engineers to use to test their MVP's.
I use Vultr to host hundreds of wordpress websites using GridPane. They have the fastest servers and incredibly responsive support teams.
Pros
Fast Hosting
Responsive Support
Competitive Pricing
Cons
There's nothing I would change!

Vultr has been exactly what I needed for hosting my websites. We host over a hundred websites on a handful of virtual high frequency servers. The sites are fast and stable. I do use vercel for some static sites, and their github deployment is very nice. I've never tried to use Vultr for static sites, so I'm not sure if it would be different. The Vercel sites I have are all small enough to be free.
I use Vultr for all of my Wordpress hosting. Vultr allows me to scale my agency quickly through the ease of spinning up a new vps and backups. I have had no issues with Vultr and will continue to use them. There wide range a data centers is really nice. I like knowing that I am not dependent on a single location when it comes to my VPS's
Pros
Ease of use
Cost transparency, I know exactly what my bill will be each month.
Integrates really well with my site management software
Cons
i have not found any

In my experience, Vultr is great for static, dynamic, and ecommerce website hosting. I have had no downtime with Vultr and am confident when I setup a new site on a current vps or if I need to spin up a new VPS for an ecommerce site that I won't experience any issues.
