Review of Vertafore RiskMatch - good value for money tool!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I used to work and advise other colleagues in Vertafore RiskMatch as a connection between local buyers and insurance broker providers. This tool provides a huge help in pairing the corresponding risk/s and the insurance profiles. From the customers' perspective, this had positive feedback when it came to finding the appropriate insurance provider that adapts to their preferences with a balance between, cost and the provided service.

This was especially helpful in the automatization of processes by reducing the manual work from the company side and by making the overall experience more faster not only for the client but also for the company.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Vertafore RiskMatch to quickly get reports on premium, revenue, top customers by industry. It is integrated to our agency management system and will offer a current "snapshot" of our book of business.

Pros

  • sorts book of business
  • integrates with agency management system
  • allows us to view revenue, etc without need to run reports in agency management system

Cons

  • the "mapping" of insurance carriers is confusing as some are named differently
  • the "roles" for users could be more clearly defined or better matched to our setup
  • the ability to compare information to same time last year would be nice

Return on Investment

  • We have yet to explore all features of Vertafore RiskMatch and get employees onboard
  • With additional training for employees we expect to have a favorable return on investment
  • Without employee participation we would probably not have favorable return on investment

We are using Vertafore RiskMatch to connect home buyers and insurance providers. This tool helps massively to pair the right risk and insurance premium profiles. Our customers have loved this tool for finding the right insurance carrier that is a good balance of cost and service. We have found the tool to eliminate a lot of manual work for our company.
