A colleague at the head office recommended Trello to me, and I used Trello to monitor the development of new learning resources. I started to use it as part of my personal productivity routine. It helped me keep track of my daily and weekly To-Do lists and was a key component of my Weekly Review process. I created a series of personal Kanban boards. The Card format of Trello lends itself to this approach. As a visual thinker, the colour coding of the cards helped me understand what needed to be done and what type of task it was. Finally, the physical movement of cards from 'To Do' to my weekly plan and then to 'Done' was helpful and satisfying.
Pros
Allows you to create cards for specific tasks.
Allows you to colour code cards for different types of task.
Makes it easy to create a functioning Kanban Board.
Cons
I use colour coding a lot so I would like a wider range of colour options.
Also as a visual thinker I would like to be able to easily add images to cards.
I would like to be able to attach a wider range of file formats to cards.

Trello is great for enhancing personal productivity. I use the Kanban approach, but it can also be used to monitor progress with projects, either as an individual or by sharing Trello Boards within a team.
I use Trello to organize and schedule my day to day tasks. I also use it for project management and organizing what projects need to be done and all of the steps within that project that are necessary (and in what specific order) to accomplish. It's an incredible tool. I love Trello!
Pros
Ease of use
Intuitiveness
Clean, not clunky
Friendly on mobile AND desktop
Likelihood to Recommend
It's great for project management, schedule organization, to-do lists, task organization, storing notes/key bits of info that you need access to quickly and easily and in an organized/routine manner. It's great for entreprenuers but also a great tool to use in your personal/daily life - like a busy mom or student.
We use Trello to manage our product roadmaps and upcoming tasks in various teams. It is useful in determining the size and effort of various pieces of work and how that adds up to a release. It helps us to be flexible and collaborate both in meetings and outside of meetings.
Pros
Organise priorities within a project
Oversee capacity for a team or roadmap
Foster collaboration within a project with tools such as voting
Assign and total up associated costs for individual pieces of work
Cons
Automatically determine when a swimlane is over capacity
Create templates for different uses with pre-determined calculations such as team velocity, cost, timeframes
Review whether some plug-ins should be automatically included, like the epic point calculator

It is well suited to meetings with large numbers of participants where you need groups or pairs to interact with and use the board during discussions. It was well used in our company pre-pandemic, and I think it is well suited to remote or hybrid workshops. It is well suited to projects that are in a state of flux because it is very flexible.

I like Trello! It's quite convenient, nice that I can choose the design. I understand how to use boards, and it's easy to manage and filter tasks. I can see what my team is doing. I also like that there are a lot of integrations that make work easier.
Pros
Design
Integrations
Filters
Cons
I'd like to have a filter for all boards at once, to see all the tasks.
Likelihood to Recommend
I believe that if you need to follow team tasks, Trello will be great, I use to-do lists for routine tasks as it's not convenient to add everything to Trello.
I use Trello to organize the business events, in my case project management trainings. The tool is very useful as you can share with other colleagues the boards and contribute all together. The kanban style cards are very easy to use, navigation across cards and boards is also excellent. Finally, the tool's design is very pleasant, which contributes to the user experience.
Pros
Task management via kanban style cards
Easy navigation
Easy to keep traction of the tasks, give updates, paste links, create polls, etc.
Cons
Gantt chart or project plan
Likelihood to Recommend
Very useful for task management, creative processes, less structured work. Not so useful for overall project management.

Currently, I have used Trello to track incoming projects and create a workflow using Zapier and Google Forms/Sheets that automates all incoming marketing requests into a queue while also looping in those needed to authorize the projects to love forward.
Pros
Customized workflow.
Accountability of work.
Ease of use.
Cons
Show thumbnails for PDFs and PSD files.
Offer more options for the "freemium" users visually.
Fewer steps to delete boards.
Likelihood to Recommend
Trello is best suited for creative or project-based teams. Not that you can't use it in other ways, but accounting, for instance, may get overwhelmed when using it.
I personally use Trello as my to-do list and project management tool. It has features to do simple project management but can turn into a full-blown project management tool with a few clicks. It primarily serves as my "whiteboard" of sorts to see at a glance where I am with projects, what tasks need to be completed and just to track overall progress. With its sharing tools, I can easily share a project or information from a project with clients via social/email channels.
Pros
I like the card style design of Trello and it is very intuitive. It's visually appealing and there is a satisfying feeling to moving a card from one list to another. Other to-do apps and project management tools have adopted this feature but Trello still does it best. If there is a single feature that I would say Trello does well, it is the cards feature. The visual appeal may not be to everyone's liking but the technique of the cards is very pivotal to what Trello does.
The PowerUps make Trello more useful. I like to use the card repeater power up for example, because I don't have to recreate tasks that may recur several times. In my opinion, this implementation of add ons has increased my usage of Trello and made me appreciate it even more.
Trello's free version has a bit of functionality, it makes it hard to see why one would want to upgrade. Any tool that can do project management well and is mostly free is worth the price.
Email notifications in Trello are helpful and not entirely overwhelming. They help to know when someone you may be collaborating with has commented on a card or task item.
Cons
Trello does things well but I feel in some ways the tool is neglected. The limited number of PowerUps is a sign of this, and I wish there were more PowerUps.
The process of setting up Trello can be overwhelming especially if you have not entirely bought into the kanban GTD methodology.
Likelihood to Recommend
Trello is good for visual project management. People who need to keep track of tasks across multiple lists will find Trello very useful. It is also ideal for media, professional service personnel and people who consult.
