What is StreamAlive?

StreamAlive is an audience engagement platform that works alongside existing live sessions on Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, Twitch, and YouTube Live. It also supports hybrid and in-person events via a browser-based, mobile-friendly chat feature.

Using live polls, word clouds, Q&As, spinner wheels, and interactive maps, StreamAlive helps boost the audience engagement in a live session and keeps people tuned.

StreamAlive uses the simplicity of the chat to power the audience engagement. There are no second screens or tab hopping for the audience because they can engage with all the interactions directly in the chat box. This keeps the audience focused on a session and doesn't give them the opportunity to get distracted by a second screen and other notifications.

For hybrid and in-person events, the audience can use their phone or computer to access the event chat and engage with the polls, Q&As, word clouds and more directly from the chat while also networking with other audience members.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use StreamAlive to create interaction with my listeners during my online events, webinars, and Zoom meetings. There is a before and after the use of StreamAlive. It energizes online meetings.

Pros

  • Custom templates are essential for getting to grips with the tool. I love the interactive world map. I also appreciate the word clouds, the random wheel. It creates a lot of dynamism in a webinar or an online event.
  • Having the ability to have an automatic selection of chat questions is a very valuable help. We can't do without it anymore.
  • Polls in StreamAlive allow for real-time results to be displayed, making it more interactive.

Cons

  • However, I did encounter a small hiccup during setup. Ensuring that the address included the correct password was a bit tricky, but once I got past that, it was smooth sailing. This minor challenge was easily outweighed by the benefits the software offers.
