Using Skedda at an arts rehearsal venue

We use Skedda to book out rehearsal spaces for theatre companies and individuals in our 20,000 sq ft venue in the heart of London. Users can also book themselves in directly 2 weeks-in advance. We have over 30 companies using the spaces every week.

Pros

  • the clear and accurate map of the space
  • different filters (grid, day, map) for different users
  • being able to build a questionnaire within the booking form
  • giving people easy access to log-in
  • the amount of control you can have over what your users see

Cons

  • admin should be able to book over other bookings
  • quick change of an 'unavailable' booking to a confirmed one with a user attached
  • not to let some users view further ahead than you decide

  • we have been able to increase the amount of people using the spaces - from 20 companies a week, to up to 30 because we gave people the power to book

We are moving resource scheduling from O365 to Skedda. So far we are happy with the product, but I'm writing this review to commend our representative. He's an excellent resource and he's been a consummate professional as he helped me to add resources (new maps and spaces). His video responses enabled me to better understand how to complete the config on my side. He has a wonderful demeanor, and I felt compelled to let you know.

Pros

  • better understanding of how a resource could be available but the map not appear

Skedda is worth the money!

Since the pandemic, we have introduced Agile Working in our office. and reduced our desk spaces from 80 to 45. This meant that we had to find a solution to fit our needs, which enables the team to book their desks when they know they will be in the office. The setting up of Skedda was so easy, and the Skedda team (particularly Patrick) were just brilliant to deal with. Really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The interface is so user friendly, that hardly any training was needed to roll out Skedda to the employees. Everyone has picked it up really easily and it has become ingrained in their day to day working life. It gives everyone a clear view of who is in the office, and which desk they are sitting at, and there are no issues when everyone comes to the office - as everyone has their booked desk to use! I highly recommend Skedda for companies who are looking for a more agile solution to their office working.

Excellent Booking System!

We are able to manage people coming in and out of the office so easily now. Even before Covid, we had problems with managing the availability of workspaces. That is not an issue anymore - people can book as they wish and we have customized our rules to best suit our office.
