This tool has given me the power to convert the data into new analytical applications that give me a transparent idea about working on multiple platforms. This is a cloud-based application that has allowed me to combine my different pages so that a complete progress report is generated. It is playing a perfect, fantastic role in our organization.
Pros
Customer support is straightforward and well responsive.
Data discovery is effective.
Big data services are amazing and secure.
Easy integration of APIs.
Cons
It is very costly solution.
I did not face any issue regarding its technicality, we easily came across its usage. But while purchasing the tool I face some complexities in terms of licensing which overburdened me.
Various plans are available but still, they lack a reliable plan.

Sisense is a reliable analytics platform that helps us fetching data effectively. Also, the visualization of data is easy. I will recommend this tool to those organizations that are dealing with their business on various platforms and trying to manage their online stores.
Sisense is used across the whole organization, both looking at internal data from our accounting software as well as looking at the aggregate data collected from our software solutions deployed worldwide. For our internal executive and sales team, it addresses visibility into sales numbers and trends. For our product managers, it provides insight into usage of our software and needs that may arise. For external purposes, we provide reporting to our customer base on their personal usage of the system.
Pros
Combining data from different sources
Cleaning up and modeling data
Dashboard creation
Cons
Cubes get very slow once your data starts to grow big.
Admins currently cannot edit each others' dashboards. This gets very cumbersome once admins change - it takes duplicating and republishing dashboards to let them take over.
Maps can be done better. The ability to compare to some standard benchmarks such as population density, demographics, GDP, etc., would be very useful.
Likelihood to Recommend
Sisense is well suited for many applications as long as the data does not get too big. We use it to analyze sales, active vs. canceled subscriptions, usage of features in our software, etc. For big data it becomes a problem. Our software is deployed to several hundred thousand users worldwide - and continually reports back. This means the data grows exponentially.
I have been using Sisense for many years now. Sisense is a data visualization tool, and it is the greatest step and latest in the Business Intelligence market. It provides the in-chip technology for accessing millions of data in the shortest span of seconds and provides the best visual efforts for your business data.
Pros
Fastest - due to its in chip methodology.
Using great visualization, BI becomes easier with Sisense.
Millions of data can be loaded in fewer seconds which didn't seem possible with other traditional reporting tools.
Robust Architecture and provides Rest APIs to access it externally.
Cons
Instability of the data cubes, runs and failures.
Unknown issues in widgets, dashboard, filters.
Republishing of the dashboards for every single change.
Variables, parameters cannot be used in the front end.
Likelihood to Recommend
Well Suited when your company size is small and having billions of records and concurrent users are less. If data can be stored in form of elasticubes and can be accessed offline. But for large organization, its not appropriate as large number of users required more logins and it leads to costing and maintenance issue. Also, at times we have observed its instability.
Sisense is being used across the whole company. We had issues with data from several sources - Salesforce, Google Analytics, and MS SQL Server. Sisense has allowed us to find the truth in our data.
Pros
Connects to all data sources.
Stylish dashboards.
Inbedability.
Cons
I believe an add-on marketplace for supported add-ons would be nice
Sometimes tech support doesn't realize the users are new to this.
More widget download options.

Multiple data sets and finding the truth in those data sets is a big help. I can't think of a situation where Sisense wouldn't be a good fit.
We made the decision to try out several dashboard type data services with Sisense being one of them a few years ago. We were using it to put together easy to read and accessible dashboards to display high level information for our senior executives. This became an ad hoc type of request and pulled in data from finance, sales, and security.
Pros
Drag and drop feature for creating a dashboard is very easy to use and intuitive.
Easy to share with other users especially if you want them to have a read only file.
Depending on the machine you have, it can be very fast and responsive when pooling data together.
Cons
Mobile system is wonky and not as intuitive as the desktop version. I would recommend against viewing the dashboards on a mobile device as well.
Likelihood to Recommend
Sisense is well suited for any organizational situation where you want to display data in an aesthetically pleasing and comprehensive way. It provides users with a way of communicating real time data with others in a company without having to constantly send updates or schedule meetings but rather having the data ready to present and accessible anywhere by anyone.
Our company was in need of a comprehensive analytical tool in which we could develop actionable insights in relatively real-time dashboards. Most departments have some form of reporting tool that does not play well with others and organizational data is as disparate as they come. Sisense was demoed in hopes of alleviating these pain points for a detailed view into all areas of the organization based off data aggregated into a single, flexible platform.
Pros
Great management of large amounts of data from numerous sources.
Beautiful visualization capabilities.
Fantastic support of customizations through custom JS plug-ins.
Implementation requires very little effort allowing users to start working with their data in a short amount of time.
Cons
After initial implementation, learning spikes up rather quickly in regard to SQL joins and custom table manipulation.
There is plenty of documentation surrounding how to do specific tasks, but not as it pertains to errors and why other things do not work. However, this is constantly improving as the community grows and collaborators contribute content.
There are quite a few tasks that require significant manual input and design. This is ideal in many situations; however, many users would like a more intuitive engine that can create working widgets automatically based on the type of data fed. Again, this is already a work in progress and will likely need much more data to establish a learning engine.

I believe Sisense is perfectly suited for any organization of any size that have access to the proper resources, as the tool is very expensive. The data connectors come in all shapes and sizes out of the box, which allows a great deal of data control within the ElastiCubes. Additionally, while the platform only runs on Windows platforms, the web application can be accessed on any client: mobile, Apple, Windows, etc. This allows a much more flexible user experience, resulting in data and dashboards reaching further than any other tool.

We used Sisense to provide analytics for our software users. In the company, we have a lot of data on our users, and we want to use this data to empower our users. Building an analytics tool will take a huge amount of time and resources. Sisense gave us the ability to easily provide analytics due to their ease of use as an EBI. It is currently being used by 700 active users.
Pros
Ease of Use
Customer Service
Visualization
Customizability - SQL/CSS, iFRAME/JS
Cons
Missing functionality - Joins
More attention on community forums

If you are looking to have an analytics tool for your company, or if you have a lot of data/data points.. then look no further. Sisense provide you with a comprehensive business intelligence tool for you to make the right decision with their intelligence capabilities. Don't build it yourself as it will take a lot of time and effort,.
We are using Sisense both for business and marketing analysis, and for product analysis. Therefore, our challenges vary, from more straightforward financial analysis to very case-specific cases, that require a different approach.
Pros
Easily answer common business questions
Helpful support team
Creating new widgets and making changes in the existing ones is fairly easy
Cons
Charts are limited and important options such as additional data on hover or sorting stacked bar charts by value. Some of these options can be achieved with Javascript though
Filtering on dashboard confuses a lot of the users. There is no easy way to filter a specific widget (not by editing it)
Drill downs are not very straightforward, and field names cannot be displayed differently on drill down
The default color schemes could be better
Querying data on the dashboard level is limited, and visually uncomfortable
No readymade templates
Likelihood to Recommend
I believe it's very suitable for simple business cases and for presenting simple data. It's less suitable for more complex data sets, mainly because there's little options of querying raw data and plotting it on the go.
Sisense is available to about half of our 200 employees and is used to review and analyze supply chain data as pertains to the publishing industry.
Pros
Easy to implement. Robust data modeling back-end.
User-friendly front-end. Dynamic widgets that are minable by anyone.
Excellent customer service.
Cons
Some basic data analysis functions should be productized (ex. MIN/MAX on date data fields, for dashboard designers).
Administrative oversight by way of dashboards is lacking.
Likelihood to Recommend
Sisense is great for us namely because we don't have a traditional data warehouse.
There's room for Sisense to add more ways for users to collaborate on a dashboard, so if you have many people capable of designing dashboards, you have to do some workarounds.
