Silver Peak success story
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We have two locations and Silver Peak is used to provide SD-WAN services between the two locations. IT department is the main use case, and it is used across the entire organization. We have no other SD-WAN solutions. We used to have an MPLS circuit and a site to site VPN and two separate routers to allow connection. Silver Peak VX allowed us to save money by getting rid of the MPLS.

- Managing more and more routers can add complexity with templates.
- Documentation around internal routing protocol they use is confusing.
- Boost add-on was oversold by pre-sales team and not helpful during testing.
