SentinelOne is our primary EDR. We utilize SentinelOne across the entire Enterprise. This has given us the ability to track and prevent malware as well as isolate and stop lateral movement of attacks on our systems.
It would be helpful if SentinelOne had better automation for updating client versions.
Simplified setup of Ranger Deploy.
Client onboarding could be improved.

SentinelOne is a next generation EDR that proivdes a real-time defense to emerging cyber attacks. The ability to quickly identify, isolate and remove threats in the current cyber landscape is priceless. It is well suited for all corporate scenarios.

SentinelOne is used for Endpoint protection within our organization. It has been very effective at mitigating threats for our stores and end users. It is used company-wide and replaced our old endpoint solution. It is very helpful to our security team to insure that we are able to see and assess threats quickly and efficiently.
Pros
Lightweight.
Cloud-based console.
Cons
Deep dive search is hit or miss.
Using Vigilance (vendor provided MSSP) was frustrating as they did not inform us how they reach solutions.
Likelihood to Recommend
This is a solid protection product. It keeps the end users safe with little interference during the process. The user experience is pretty transparent. On the admin side it can be more frustrating. We have a 3 month trial of the vendor's Vigilance offering, which was good but very secretive - often solutions were reached that could not be explained to our team. This was annoying as we went off of their service and were not able to replicate their answers. There is also problems with their Deep Visibility offering - when it works, it works well and allows you to track issues, but that is very hit or miss and you can never rely on it to work.
SentinelOne is being used globally, US, EMEA, APAC, as the primary end point security solution.
Pros
SentinelOne provides excellent protection against known and unknown attacks to our endpoints.
The recovery option provides a fast, first line of defense against ransomware and other system damaging attacks.
SentinelOne requires minimal administrative support making it a very cost effective and efficient solution.
Cons
We have not found any significant shortcomings at this time.
Likelihood to Recommend
Due to the low administrative overhead, SentinelOne is a good solution for companies with smaller staffs who may not have dedicated security resources. EDR capabilities are not as extensive as some other products but basic information is available an unless you have sufficient resources to evaluate data, additional data may not be valuable. SentinelOne offers a very good blend of data and automatic remediation and protection.
