The data is sometimes hard to manipulate within the interface and isn't always intuitive for marketers earlier in their career. Providing some guidance as to actions that can be taken would be valuable.
Semrush is used by both our Marketing team and our Editorial team. Reviewed's Marketing team uses Semrush for paid and earned marketing research, competitive analysis, and tracking performance. Our Editorial team uses multiple research and writing tools that help them make decisions about SEO.

The trend graph in the Keyword Magic report is confusing and should stay static (showing in Jan-Dec order no matter what the month currently is)
Most of the data is a day delayed. That seems to be more related to Semrush data sources than anything else
Excited about the Top Stories tracking feature, but it's not without its errors. Looking forward to improvements there

At 99.co, we use Semrush for both our Singapore and Indonesia (ID) markets, where it’s especially important for Keyword Research use by our ID Content Team. It has recently been adopted by our SG Editorial Team as well. It helps address content gap issues and improve our keyword rankings, as we aim to improve the organic traffic throughout our site.

For Keyword Research, Semrush is an absolute must-have tool. It's simple to use and identifies the keyword gaps that help us identify content opportunities that our competitors have an edge over us. I definitely recommend to my colleagues that there are many tools on Semrush and to understand them all, it would be best to go through all the courses/classes they offer to better understand the platform.
As my personal brand began to get traction, more people were being led to my website to sign up for workshops. Still, in the bringing phase, I knew I could make improvements and needed to know which areas required that. SEMrush seemed like the best tool at the time and was! It was able to address the flaws in the website (such as speed, lack of metadata) and suggest solutions.

For an up-and-coming brand, this might be a great alternative to SEO companies. Though it takes time to learn and understand the ins and out of the platform, the insight you get from the data is worth it. And, knowledge of this side of the business is beneficial as well.
I have been using Semrush for quite some time and so far, it has been a tremendous help in helping me understand marketing. As someone who is interested in entering the film industry, I would want to know what kind of audience I am aiming towards when promoting any projects or screenings. Semrush provides a lot of insights for new and returning users to look over and create a strategy to improve their company and take it to the next level. This platform is extremely useful for college students if they are interested in starting a company or a brand and if this is your passion, Semrush is a perfect starting point.

I can quickly determine the keywords we should be using and the content topics we should be writing about. And easily monitor our performance along the way and compare to our competitors.
