Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used SeekOut as a method to eliminate unconscious biases the hiring managers that were reviewing resumes would have. The good thing is that it shielded any identifying information that could lead to a bias. Unfortunately, sometimes some of those identifiers would be needed when pushing diversity slates.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am looking for candidates with clearances, top secret and above. I do not have LinkedIn Recruiter and I do not need LinkedIn Recruiter since I have this product!

Pros

  • Narrowing down candidates
  • finding candidates that POSSIBLY have a clearance
  • comparing companies
  • just sourcing in general helps so much
  • people who are on call to help use the product, Evan A has been amazing at training

Cons

  • finding more folks with clearances
  • an easier way to download into my system or an add on into my system "Avature"

Likelihood to Recommend

It is harder to find candidates with clearances but SeekOut does the best it can to recommend those with them. I wish I could add these candidates easier into our system here at work and I didn't have to download by the 100's when downloading candidates from the SeekOut system into a spreadsheet.

We use SeekOut t to find Engineering candidates with strong experience in backend distributed systems design and development. Typically we link this with our company emails and a Linkedin recruiter account. Messaging campaigns are either email or Linkedin. Email campaigns are the preference because LinkedIn integration is still very manual through SeekOut.

Pros

  • Automated Email messaging campaigns
  • Concise summaries of candidate profiles without clicking on them
  • Easy to edit messaging campaigns, user friendly UI

Cons

  • Integration with Linkedin Recruiter, it is still very manual
  • Ability to edit email messaging campaigns when paused, even if campaign hasn't been completed
  • a way to sort candidate in a project by whether they have a "found email" or not

Likelihood to Recommend

SeekOut is great for a simple and easy to use email campaign. It's ability to find candidates emails quickly is very useful. The integration of email messaging campaigns into the platform is very useful. However, SeekOut lacks a bit in terms of LinkedIn Recruiter integration functionality. Theres lots of work to be done on that.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

SeekOut has allowed us to create talent insight reports, find candidates who are not on Linkedin, and build up diverse pipelines that create an inclusive work environment. This is a great tool for scraping LI, GitHub, and other social media sources. I use it regularly to actively source candidates for the roles that I am working on.

  • Great for finding contact info
  • User friendly - intuitive, easy interface

  • Easier ways to export talent
  • Better integration with LI

Likelihood to Recommend

SeekOut has helped me on a ton of hard-to-fill roles where I struggled to identify talent. I love the AI functionality and the way that it serves up candidates. It's helped me influence hiring managers and find candidates who have been excellent for my organization.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

SeekOut helps me find great candidates for very engineering leadership roles that have uniques and specific requirements. Finding candidate contact information is one of the biggest problems that SeekOut helps with. I am also a big fan of the market intel available for each role that I am working on.

  • Market intel.
  • Providing contact info.

Cons

  • Compensation intel.

Likelihood to Recommend

SeekOut is well suited for finding specific candidates for roles with very specific technical and leadership requirements. I focus on finding senior engineering leadership and the market intel and D&I filters are awesome. I would definitely recommend SeekOut to colleagues and anyone else in the recruiting industry looking for a tool that does these things well.
