We utilize Rubrik to back up all of our M365 mailboxes and our data servers, aiding in data loss prevention and ensuring the retention of sensitive information to meet legal compliance. A key business problem Rubrik addresses is the ability to recover deleted data, such as when an employee leaves the company and removes their files. For O365 backup we use Polaris and it is really ease of management. Good thing about Rubrik is the GUI which is ease of management and anyone can work on it even without knowledge. Also the support is available at anytime to support the customer. I am very satisfied with the Rubrik. Still there is so much room for improvements but it seems it take some time

1. Rubrik helped our environment for taking backups with ease 2. Implemented Rubrik in Azure 3. Archrivals are so easy with any of the cloud 4. Restoring from cloud is also very ease. Data can be archived by selecting the policies as hot/cold. 5. Upgrade is so easy with no issues found
We use it as a backup tool to implement backups on Cloud and Databases. It is quite efficient as compared to products like Avamar and NetBackup. It has a lot of backup frequency and we can use SLA domains to implement backup and retention based on the business requirement. Also, Rubrik does offer a consistent backup of cloud products.

It's a way faster and reliable backup software we have implemented till now. Lots of cloud backup are been initiated with the help of Rubrik. Certainly, we have certainly improved our timeframe for backup. Also, it is very consistent and the restoration of the backup is also very efficient and viable.
We use Rubrik in our labs for our support team to learn with. We also have customers that we manage that run Rubrik as well as we support Rubrik with customers we resell to. Our teams are constantly growing and additional members are being trained on it. We currently protect our labs and some production resources and leverage the cloud features and replication.

Rubrik excels in virtualization backups and recovery. It's simple and reliable. The instant recovery is excellent. The agent features for physical servers is always improving but still limited in some features. One big weakness is during restores if there is an error while putting files back to their location it is often reported as successful which is slightly misleading. This only occurs when the agent lacks permissions to put files back.
We are a Managed Services Provider and we use Rubrik as the centerpiece of our Managed Backup product set. We currently use it in 3 of our 30 sites, with plans to roll it out to our other sites in the next couple years. We have approximately 2800 objects (VMs, databases, servers) currently being protected by Rubrik. It replaced our legacy homegrown backup platform which was fragmented, decentralized, and aging.

Rubrik is great for anyone who is looking for a backup product to plug into an existing automation system, as its API is very full-featured (by design). Rubrik is not so great if you're looking for a drop-in replacement for a monolithic legacy backup platform like CommVault or NetBackup, because it doesn't yet have all of the rarely-used, esoteric features of those products.
