Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We run several ecommerce businesses, each with a high incidence of fraud. We use Riskified to mitigate our fraud losses. Riskified reviews each of our orders in a highly automated manner. There is a chargeback guarantee, so if a fraud chargeback comes in on an order that Riskified approved, they reimburse us.

Riskified is well suited to mitigate fraud loss in an ecommerce business. They work with a wide variety of clients and industries. They are very customer centric -- they are always eager to learn about our business and needs, they are very responsive, and they are great at connecting us with other companies facing similar issues.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our organization uses Riskified in order to resolve possible chargebacks and fraud. It makes us feel safe when making payments in different locations because we can request refunds in case of chargeback fraud. It is compatible with different platforms, including payment gateways such as Stripe and Deco, which allows us to carry out secure transactions.

Cons

  • PayPal compatibility is not very good in my opinion.

Riskified is a good option if you are an eCommerce. It facilitates the verification of fraudulent orders, offers visibility to the history of rejected orders, and facilitates detection and cancellation before orders are processed. It is also compatible with various e-commerce platforms such as Magento Commerce and PrestaShop, as well as PayPal, Stripe, and Deco, excellent payment solutions.

We use it to integrate with our platform to prevent frauds, which lifts our revenues

Cons

  • I dislike not understanding why some orders with multiple "red flags" are accepted/approved by Riskified, and some orders that are declined will have full AVS match, no noticeable red flags, and the Riskified reason is ONLY something simple, like "email syntax." That doesn't make sense to me!

Likelihood to Recommend

We're lowering the risks accepted by our business for fraudulent orders. This also gives peace of mind to our Customer Service team, who's more confident in accepting orders over the phone. If it's not great, Riskified has our back and will decline the order!
