Procore is used in our Energy Serivces Preconstruction business. It allows for proper front end planning. We use it for site audit documentation, bid management and bid leveling. It has dramatically improved our day-to-day efficiency for our project developers, energy engineers and estimators. It is our single source of truth.

I am the main project manager for a high end interior and exterior millwork fabricator. We specialize in anything woodworking and serve high end clients in Palm Beach and Jupiter Florida. I use Procore to organize everything. I use it to manage submittals, drawings, RFI's, and approvals during the drawing process. Procore helps me keep all parties involved and accountable to staying on track for timing and for all schedules. I use Procore everyday and it helps me not have things fall through the cracks as much as they normally would without Procore.
Pros
Manage Drawings and Approvals
Maintaining open communication between parties on the project
Organize all of the information for the project- details and specs
Clearly keep the details accurate and up to date
Cons
the mark up function could be better and more accurate
when there are changes- it should be very obvious- big RED letters or something standing out from the rest of the information
somehow add actual pictures with dimensions that you can use to reference and show specific rooms

Procore has allowed me to stay on top of mostly all things going on in the job. It helps me with to do tasks or showing me what is in the red and needs action. I use Procore daily along with Innergy on the internal side of our company. Between the 2 there is a lot of back and forth. If they could somehow be integrated together. That would be truly helpful.
We are a general contractor that uses Procore for all aspects of the construction process. We use it for bidding, project management, contractor contracts, prime owner contracts, invoicing, including punch lists and close out. This software gives us the tools and organizational needs to ensure that we are keeping tabs on KPIs and our PMs on task with current issues and push us to the best problem solving
Pros
Subcontracts
Budget
Bidding
File storage
Cons
Drawing Markups
Submittal Markups

Procore Pay has proven highly effective for managing conditional and unconditional waivers, ACH payments, and tracking contract commitments. Your team has successfully implemented it for new projects, streamlining payment workflows and improving transparency. This has helped us keep better records for payments and tracking of lien waivers. This alone i would recommend Procore. This help us manage more work at a high standard
As a General Contractor I manage many projects through Procore, from Budgets to Commitments to change orders and billing. Procore streamlines the whole project management from Award to Punch list. I have no complaints
Pros
Billing
Change Management
Subcontracts

Cons

Knowing a contractor is using Procore to manage the construction site is always helpful as an engineer. It lets me know that all of my RFIs and questions will be on one site and they will all come through in predictable formats and methods. I know that sub contractors will have access to the documents quickly and will be working off the same set of plans as every one else.
Pros
RFI creation and management
Document tracking
Product Submission and conversations
Cons
RFIs that result in another RFI being created still results in a logistical mess
Tracking conversations and finding meeting minutes can be cumbersome
I'd love to see better markup of construction documents

For construction projects where a design team, owner, and contractor are working together, especially on items that have a months long or years long schedule this is an amazing product. I could see it being overkill for short projects or projects with minimal design team interface. Things like restriping a parking lot or painting a wall that are more maintenance may not benefit from the software. But new construction where you want to make sure that architects and engineers are all aware of the on-site conditions this really helps us.
I am a consultant who reviews submittals, RFIs, etc. for projects in Procore. Procore makes managing paperwork for projects easier. It minimizes actual paper and most document review and approvals can be done electronically. The approvals go from one person to the next and the flow of the paperwork is maintained.
Biggest problem is slow downs in the program when uploading approved submittals and other documents.
Pros
Submittal review
Document storage
Listing of personnel involved in a project
Cons
Upload speeds
Files and documents could be better organized. But that is on the GC
Likelihood to Recommend
Reviewing RFIs, COs, and submittals is centralized and the flow of the reviews can be followed. The people required to perform the reviews are named Procore and the flow of who performed the reviews are shown. It makes keeping track of the reviews easy. I also like the confirmation emails that are sent for my records.
We use Procore mainly to keep our excavation projects organized and running smoothly. It helps us manage everything from pre-construction planning to daily field work and closeout. Most of our jobs involve site prep for commercial and residential builds, so having one place to track progress, documents, and communication is helpful
Pros
Drawings tool
Submittals
RFI's
Specifications
Punchlist / Closeout
Cons
Submittals - applying templates
Financial tools - confusing to use

Procore is great for keeping things organized, especially on larger jobs where there are a lot of moving parts. It helps track who’s responsible for what with its “ball in court” feature, so nothing slips through the cracks. You also get daily reminders for overdue items from subcontractors, which keeps everyone accountable and on schedule.
I usually use Procore for making RFA submittals (Request for Approval) & RFI (Request for Information) addressed to our structural consultants. The process was very helpful because of the workflow arrangement made by Procore. I don't need to send emails to each person involved in the submittal for them to review it. You can add them to the workflow, and they will be notified that they need to review something I sent. Of course, they have to have their Procore account. Procore also made my monitoring very convenient because it can also store approved documents using the drawing tools & the documents tools. You can easily send the links of these tools to the people that you want to share the link with, so that you have a common reference. Another thing I like about using Procore is that it notifies you when your submittal (RFA & RFI) has been approved or disapproved by the relevant party. You don't need to check it regularly to determine if the submittal has already been commented on. You need to click the "Create and send email" button, and Procore will notify all individuals included in the workflow and the distribution list. With just one click, everyone will receive an email regarding the submittal you created.
Pros
RFA/RFI SUBMITTALS WORKFLOW
NOTIFICATIONS ON THE APPROVED SUBMITTALS
CONVENIENT WAY OF STORING DRAWINGS AND OTHER REFERENCES IN THE DRAWING TOOLS/DOCUMENTS TOOLS
IT ALSO ALLOWS E-SIGNATURE IN YOUR DOCUMENT RIGHT IN THE PROCORE.
Cons
There were times when Procore didn't accept large files, resulting in the document not being clickable in the e-signing process.
Other than things mentioned above, I'm good with Procore.
Likelihood to Recommend
Procore offers a convenient way of monitoring submittals, especially in our organization, where you have to deal with different people who need attention & approval for your drawings. Procore also notifies you via email if the persons involved have already made their comments/approval on your submittal. You don't need to check it regularly.
I’m with a contracting development corporation that focuses on plumbing, but we also accept other scopes of work. Procore is very helpful in our day-to-day site operations. The best part here is that it’s easy to use—even one of our older employees adjusted quickly. From document organization to reviewing plans, it was clear and simple. Even the Procore app is very user-friendly, and extremely helpful in our coordination with general contractors and other trades.
Pros
All-in-one docs
All your drawings, RFIs, submittals, etc. are in one place. It's easier to find and you can be sure everything is up to date, no confusion.
Real-time updates
Whether in the field or office, you can update immediately. For example, upload a daily log or pics to the site, the team will see it immediately. Action is faster.
Tracking and tasks
We can immediately see who has done the task, what is pending. It helps with the schedule and avoids blame.
Cons
The app is a bit slow
It lags sometimes especially with large files or when the signal is weak. I hope it will be smoother especially offline.
Other tools are confusing
There is overlap in features like Tasks and Punch List. It is confusing especially for new users.
Lack of customization
Forms and settings are not very flexible. I wish they could be adjusted per team needs.
Likelihood to Recommend
Procore is really good to use especially for large projects with many trades involved. Everything you need is in one place: drawings, RFIs, approvals, and daily logs. Updates are also exchanged quickly from the field to the office, so you avoid hassle and the work is clear right away. It has helped us a lot in our daily work. It is also easy to use, even if you are not familiar with technology, it is easy to learn.
As a national contractor specializing in historic preservation, we rely on Procore both as our internal project management solution and as a collaboration tool when working with GCs, CMs, and owners who implement it. Internally, it has been a game changer, especially for projects where our project management team may not have a constant on-site presence. Procore has provided us with invaluable insight into daily project operations, significantly improving organization and efficiency across our projects
Pros
Daily tracking of onsite activities
Safety management
Photo documentation
Cons
T&M tracking is a great feature, but could be expanded upon to give those who use it a little more control over the data they are inputting.
Customizing the tools and fieldsets has a bit of a learning curve and can be streamlined.
Would like to see integration so that 360 photos are supported as well as video upload.
Likelihood to Recommend
Procore is particularly well suite to connect the office staff with the field, all in one place. While some integration/linking is being implemented, there may still be some redundancy if you are working on a project where a GC/CM is using Procore and you are also using Procore internally.
