Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It has helped us to manage and streamline our printing infrastructure across multiple locations. It’s also the best since we can easily address security concerns by ensuring sensitive documents are only released at the printer by only authotized users. Also its support team is topnotch and always ready to solve any problem.

Pros

There’s ease of adding other printers
It minimise the risk of sensitive client information being left on the printer unattended.
It also has easy to understand interface and connects easily with other tools

Cons

It had difficulty integrating a few older printers into the system.
More robust alerting for printer errors or job failures would be helpful for proactive troubleshooting.

Likelihood to Recommend

It’s well suited as it centralizes print management without requiring on site servers.
Also it’s less appropriate since it’s advanced features maybe excessive for small teams that only need basic printing.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have multiple locations across our company and PrinterLogic makes it easy for end users to quickly add a printer to their device without admin intervention. The plugin in is also easy to update and does not interrupt the end user while they are using their computer during working hours.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Previously, we were using a printer server. In this case, users were required to have administrator privileges/intervention in order to connect to a printer. Now, using Vasion Print, we are able to streamline printer connections by allowing users to choose which printer to connect to, among different locations, with no elevated privileges required.

On the other hand, we have many users who travel to different sales parks across the state and need to connect to printers quickly and without admin intervention. Vasion Print allows these users to do it themselves without waiting on IT.

We purchased Vasion Print to mitigate the Windows PrintNightmare CVE. It has been extremely helpful for cloud printer and driver management.
Customer support is good and is easy to integrate for a variety of printers. We use Vasion Print every day and supports all features needed from our MFPs, plotters, and other general printers.

It is extremely easy to use in a general hub and spoke environment and was an easy replacement from a general Windows print server to a cloud deployment. Customer support is good and is easy to integrate for a variety of printers. We use Vasion Print every day and supports all features needed from our MFPs, plotters, and other general printers.

We use PrinterLogic to deprecate print servers and have every printer in the company available for users to install and print to. This made it much easier for users to install themselves and locate which printer they need when visiting a new office or jobsite. They also love seeing the layout and where the printer is to avoid confusion of selecting the wrong printer.

We use it for part of lining up our printers for addressing problems that can be handles in a GUI interface. Within this, we also have locations, set ups, and organization measures to make our day to day easier. Using this has caused us to have a smoother and easy environment for everyone involved.

We Implemented PrinterLogic in order to get a grasp on what our color printing spend was. We were able to cut color ink spend in half within 90 days by building default print profiles. The product also allowed us to configure drivers and easily map the printers to end user machines. This cut down the tickets for our helpdesk by 5-10%.

We use Vasion Print to manage all our printer deployments across our multiple sites. Since our workforce has to move between site, we utilize the IP Range Object function to automatically deploy and remove the printers when they visit our sites. That way, the user doesn't have to manually add the printer if they need to print. A very useful feature.

We used Vasion Printer to allow our users to install their own printers(and drivers). Doing this is saving valuable time for IT. No longer does IT need to reach out and assist the users in installing their own printers. Run Vasion Print, select your printer and you are good to go. Simple as that.
