We use Postal.io exclusively in our sales and marketing functions to generate new leads, break into target accounts, and progress opportunities. We've been able to leverage both existing items from their marketplace as well as request new items, both have been easy to use and highly successful. I like being able to send gifts either directly to a recipient or embedded in an email, that flexibility has proven quite useful. The reporting functionality isn't overly robust but meets our needs.

Postal.io is well suited to serving sales, marketing, and customer success functions. All three can benefit from sending both manual and automated gifts. The only circumstance I would see the product not working is if those functions aren't able to secure a large enough monthly budget to send gifts at a reasonably high volume.

Postal.io allows us to move quickly. If we see an opportunity to accelerate lead generation or demo bookings for our SDR team we can introduce an incentive strategy in a matter of clicks. The integrations with Salesforce, Marketo, and Outreach ensure all systems are in sync.
Cons
The billing and team setup in theory is valuable but can be cumbersome.
The lead time for branded/custom swag or box creation is longer than other vendors.
At times previously used items will disappear from the marketplace without notice and you'll need to request they be added back. This is just a funky user experience.

If you are a small or growing team that understands experiential, ABM, and gift marketing strategies and how to leverage them, Postal.io gives you everything you need with moderate CSM coverage, without the white glove price tags of similar solutions like Sendoso.
We used Postal.io to send gift cards to our prospects before meetings or to invite them to events. It helps keep our number of no-shows down and prospects are excited to take a meeting.

We use Postal.io for direct mail and gifting for: prospective and existing customers employees strategic partners. We wanted to make sure that we were regularly letting people we work with know that we valued them even when we could not get together in person to show them. This has been a good solution for making people feel appreciated as we work together.

Events are still a little bit confusing.
My point of contact has turned over a few times.
I don't think we've adopted as much as we could and we recommend some more ongoing support for this.

Postal.io is perfect for getting gift cards, physical gifts, and company swag into peoples' hands easily. I think there are a lot of creative ways that it could be used as well but I haven't really been exposed to them. There is a customer community but it doesn't have much activity so there's an opportunity to grow that and get more people using Postal.io more creatively.
