Am I Being too kind to Kindful, or is it Natural? It is.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Kindful is ideal for the early startup nonprofit looking for a one-stop solution for the nonprofit's outreach, campaign build, and donor communication experience. Their price point made them attractive. What stood out was how their Donor experience concerning how our nonprofit looked and presented was very positive. Fully implemented, we selected Network for Good, Bloomerang, and Kindful. We picked Kindful because it simply had the best donor experience, with clean, modern forms, multiple payment options, and substantial financial management and transaction reconciliation capabilities, making it ideal for a small office nonprofit. Our anticipated growth is just at the pace for Kindful and even if blow up much more than our $500,000 target for 2025, it is our Mission to making healthcare and wellness solutions agnostic to ones station in life, we open our doors to all who sincerely want their highest achievement of well being. We're grateful for picking a winner like Kindful out of the gate!

Pros

  • Better donor portal than competitors.
  • Easy recurring giving setup.
  • Easier year-end reporting.
  • Better social media integration.

Cons

  • I don't think that Kindful needs any major rehauls or revamps.
  • It's great if you are building your donor base from scratch.

Return on Investment

  • It allowed us to automate and connect with our entire donor base and begin our engagement and invites to our upcoming Gala.

Usability

Kindful is great for small non-profits!

Pros

  • Donor management - Clear and organized management of all of our donors.
  • Donation management - They help us set up donation pages and help us keep track of all of our donations. We are able to see how we did by month, year, and compare it to the others.

Cons

  • Can get expensive for a small non-profit without consistent income.
  • Takes time to get used to.

Return on Investment

  • We've experienced a very positive ROI.

Kindful enabled our new non-profit to thrive

Pros

  • MailChimp Integration - I love how there is a two way integration so contacts added on either system sync instantly to the other with minimal setup
  • User friendly - the input screens and reports are very intuitive. Our team was able to start using them with minimal training
  • Onboarding - we were very impressed with the entire onboarding process which included help setting up initial integrations, reports and training

Cons

  • Volunteer tracking is possible with custom fields - but would be ideal if this were out of the box
  • Event tracking is possible but for a single registrant it requires them to enter their information twice (once as a registrant, and once as a payer) which is not ideal

Return on Investment

  • Easy reports enabling us to quickly determine which key donors we must be in touch with
  • Significant time savings with reduced data entry due to robust integrations
  • Minimal training time needed as so user friendly and intuitive
