We use it to track all IT Project Requests and track IT labor against those projects. We track project portfolios by business unit. In addition to Projects we also track Administrative, Operational, and Small Enhancement activities. Also use it to manage resources - to see what percent they are allocated for current and future project tasks.

My organization uses PPM Pro for Project and Portfolio Management. It is highly configurable, allowing us maximum flexibility in adding or removing data points and generating many reports and dashboards to monitor project progress and health.

Wake County Government utilizes PPM PRO as our Project and Application Portfolio management system. We have been using PPM PRO for over 8 years now and have grown our capability maturity along with the functionality that the tool offers. We have been extremely successful with growth and expansion toward enterprise use within the county to track technology related projects and applications. We are continuing our growth with the use of the resource management functionality and also interfacing with other Planview suite tools like ProjectPlace.
