Review Planview PPM Pro Tool

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Planview PPM Pro as our Project Management Tool in [...] IT. We enter project requests which are reviewed and quoted by the delivery teams and then approved by the Business Relationship Management in the workflow. Later they are turned into Projects and we manage the projects in the Tool. We are trying to have all the Projects from [...] IT in that Tool because we also do Reporting on the Projects. These reports are mostly for our VPs and Business Partners to see the overview of what is going on currently.

Pros

  • Management of Project deliverables and milestones
  • Portfolio Management
  • Demand Management

Cons

  • Manage detailed project tasks
  • Implementation of new workflows catered to company's needs
  • resource management

Return on Investment

  • Positive impact on portfolio management to show our strategic initiatives and goals
  • Positive impact on project deliverables and holding project deadlines since everything gets more visibility due to the project reporting we do as well.
  • positive impact on implementation. easy to implement the tool
