Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it to track all IT Project Requests and track IT labor against those projects. We track project portfolios by business unit. In addition to Projects we also track Administrative, Operational, and Small Enhancement activities. Also use it to manage resources - to see what percent they are allocated for current and future project tasks.

Wake County Government utilizes PPM PRO as our Project and Application Portfolio management system. We have been using PPM PRO for over 8 years now and have grown our capability maturity along with the functionality that the tool offers. We have been extremely successful with growth and expansion toward enterprise use within the county to track technology related projects and applications. We are continuing our growth with the use of the resource management functionality and also interfacing with other Planview suite tools like ProjectPlace. We look forward to what new features are slated in this year's Roadmap and how we can incorporate them into our strategic work planning.
