I think Pipedrive has made some big improvements with the parent child hierarchy but it could be displayed better. Pipedrive is siloed from our other systems which makes it difficult to keep current customer data up to date. It would be nice to have an account manager follow up with us and see where we can make improvements. The tool is simple to use for sales teams.

We use Pipedrive in our organization primarily as a CRM. We use it to set reminders on following up with potential clients, tracking activities (phone calls, emails, etc.) as well as a tool for tracking data such as close ratios, performance metrics and much more. Pipedrive has helped our sales team stay accountable and keep all of our customer data organized and in one place for easy access.

Have a cleaner integration into outlook. It can be difficult to send emails sometimes from Pipedrive sometimes if it doesn't sync up with your email.

Pipedrive is a great tool for sales teams that have a longer sales cycle and need to keep track of deal progress over time without losing the details of an opportunity. Pipedrive may not be the best tool for sales teams that have a very short close period as Pipedrive is focused more on opportunities that have several steps in the sales process.

We use Pipedrive across our entire company to set follow-ups, track opportunities, organize prospects, and internal communication between departments.
Pros
The easiest CRM to setup and onboard.
Very easy to change/add prospects, organizations, and contact info.

Doesn't track when you last emailed/reached out to someone well.
Opportunity and won-sales reporting leaves a lot to be desired.

Pipedrive is great for small organizations, especially ones with limited budgets. It's a great "starter" CRM for someone looking to get their feet wet. Would not recommend to larger companies with large sales staff. At scale there will be headaches.
Pipedrive has allowed us to take our loosely informal sales process and put a solid cloud based framework to it. Pipedrive reduces the number of e-mails related to sales activities by half. Missed or forgotten follow-up is a thing of the past as Pipedrive does not allow you to let things slip. Using Pipedrive doubles your sales efforts...period.
