What is Pexip?

Pexip (now including the former Videxio) is a video conferencing platform that combines enterprise communications and collaboration solutions in Virtual Meeting Rooms, or operates as a gateway between platforms. It allows people to use any communication or collaboration device or tool of their choice: traditional videoconferencing, Microsoft® Skype® for Business, personal and mobile devices, telephones, or simply any web browser.

Categories & Use Cases

A wonderful video meeting software.

Pros

  • With the help of its screen-sharing feature, we can give presentations and can share files with all participants.
  • Its recording feature works so well.
  • It provides HD-quality audio and video.
  • Its hand-raising feature helps in maintaining discipline as participants first raise their hands and then ask a question.

Cons

  • It requires high bandwidth internet and doesn’t work well with a weak connection.
  • Its system gets clunky with a large number of participants.
  • Its pricing is not good.

Most Important Features

  • Hand-raising feature.
  • High definition video and audio.
  • Screen sharing.

Return on Investment

  • There is better collaboration in our team.
  • We don’t need to be present in the office to discuss something important as we can collaborate from almost anywhere.
  • We cannot add a large number of participants as it gets disturbed and the system gets clunky.

Good for use. Good for quality!

Pros

  • Ease of use - The product is extremely user-friendly
  • Being able to use many video conference devices with minimal hassle is a nice bonus.
  • The sound and video quality are some of the best I've experienced

Cons

  • Lack of a chat feature which I hope to eventually be part of the product in case someone's mic cuts out.

Return on Investment

  • The product has made video conferencing much easier for our company. I don't think it's the cheapest, but it is definitely worth it.
  • I can't really think of a negative impact this has had on us so far.

Videxio - Exactly What Videoconferencing Should Be!

Pros

  • Easy to use: It integrates with whatever calendar system you already have.
  • Great end-user experience: End users, both in-house and our clients all can access a dedicated Videxio room in one click. No need to download any app, and when videocalls are all back-to-back, overruns of 1 to another because an app download is required is no longer an acceptable option (a problem most other such tech still have).
  • Customer Support: As easy as Videxio is to get started with and use, since we got it on a Friday, we tested it out over the w/e and their customer support was just as great as it has been during normal business hours.
  • Security: Since it's a dedicated room, we don't have to worry about clients mistakenly coming in to a private conversation with another client. A dedicated room also leaves cybersecurity to thier in-house experts.

Cons

  • It's hard to find anY cons. But perhaps, the "getting started" manual which is available, and they do send it when you first start, which is needless and far too big whould be replaced by a 15 minute videocall. That's so much better a way to go as no one has time to read so much anymore.

Return on Investment

  • We were able to quickly reduce the backlog of video interview work that was stuck in queue.
  • We wasted no time searching through the 30+ other competitors in this space, many of which we had already tried, because Videxio had every thing we could not find up until then.
  • No negative impacts, in fact, because TrustRadius helped us find Videxio very quickly, we actually reduced the time it took to get our project back on track.

Videxio - For A Great One-Click Experience

Pros

  • It’ s Fast! Time is money and having such a great end-user experience on both sides matters!
  • Positive ROI is immediate - no heavy installs of HW nor any complexity of SW install either
  • Highest Security - they have clearly used design thinking from experience. No chance of any caller dropping in on the call before theirs.
  • Unlimited number of video calls per day because one no longer has to lose valuable productivity time in setting one up.

Cons

  • I am so grateful to have found the perfect video all tool I can’t recommend any improvements. But I know they are great listeners and will send any I think of in the future.

Return on Investment

  • Ease of use ensures immediate ROI, which for me helped get an important project unstuck!
  • Video call recording to capture and share interviewees insights is brilliant, multipurpose usage with immediate positive ROI
  • Customer support was as great as the technology!

Integrating Fragmented Technologies for Seamless Video Conferencing

Pros

  • Interfaces seamlessly with Skype, Google Hangouts and Microsoft Teams.
  • The ability to have two content items on the screen at one time, being video of the presenters and a sharescreen, or open document, is brilliant.
  • Pexip Infinity is available as a full on-premises solution, which is great for a defence industry enterprise.

Cons

  • Some of the configuration options are too complicated and present too many options to the user.
  • Finding other cons is difficult; the software is seamless.

Return on Investment

  • Pexip Infinity has simplified the video conferencing function within our company by allowing users to be trained on a single platform and use this for all interactions. This is limited the amount of support needed and allowed users to engage with any client at ease.
  • Pexip Infinity, due to its single cost, has allowed the company to cancel subscriptions to services it no longer needs due to the built in integrations.
  • Pexip Infinity is the latest in a long list of video conferencing solutions tried within our company and hopefully the last. Employees are tired of having to change platforms constantly and the perception of Pexip Infinity at this stage is that it is a breath of fresh air.
