PerformYard is excellent at what it does, including Performance Reviews and everything leading up to and surrounding the Performance Management process. Establishing review questions and launching the performance review process, establishing and tracking goals, as well as providing a forum for providing and documenting feedback.

PerformYard allows us to easily schedule and process evaluations. We have a standard form for semi-annual evaluations and the Feedback feature allows each person to record notes throughout the year that can be shared or used for their own reference. Some find it difficult to see what is due and the automatic reminders do not always reflect that an action is needed by the user.
We use PerformYard for our engagement/project review cycles on a quarterly and annual basis.

It is less well suited for those jobs where there is a standard metric or performance level not requiring specific unique tasks.

The one room for improvement that could be better for PerformYard would be an intro educator screen, explaining the platform's features to allow the new users to feel at home.
Performance feedback for the various functions of the organization as well as self-performance management. Employees use it to provide feedback to the various support functions of the organization while also leveraging it to do the half-yearly and annual performance reviews as part of the appraisal cycle. The toll also provides features like goal setting, self appraisal as well as gathering feedback from multiple managers

It is an excellent tool for quick deployment and scaling up for a new company. The tool is great for any new organization irrespective of size as it can allow the leaders to quickly deploy the tool without worrying about server or deployment costs. However, need more information about the security features.

PerformYard works great for our employees who are pushing for a promotion to the next level as many times we are able to give concrete examples of what they need to do to get to the next level as well as create a plan to get to that next step. Sometimes for employees who are going to stay at the same level it is difficult to rationale that in the ratings system.
I use PerformYard at work to create and track goals. My project managers are able to review my goals, and my coworkers have the option to leave me feedback regarding my project work and contributions to the firm. I can view my goals in a graph, which helps me understand my progress. The format is semi-private (again, my managers can see it however my other coworkers cannot). I use PerformYard for large-scale, big picture yearly goals, rather than project-specific short-term goals. I believe it is perfect for this use.

It's difficult to edit goals once they've been posted. If I want to change something I generally delete and re-type the goal.
The dashboard and user interface could incorporate some more color. I appreciate minimalism but adding color could help with user wayfinding throughout the site.
There might already be a desktop app, if there is then I'm not aware. If there isn't, this could be helpful and would encourage users to keep their goals up to date.

We use PerformYard to track progress and goals in-between annual reviews. This program is well suited for annual reviews because it allows the user to see progress throughout their entire past year. It is less appropriate to use on a daily basis for short-term goal tracking, such as during project work.
We use it for setting goals, annual and mid-year performance reviews, evaluating and tracking the progress, and giving feedback at the same time. It is very easy to update new employee information, edit data, and extract information. It is one of the most user-friendly and cost-effective tools in the market.

Selecting the dates for 30 days of feedback and 90 days of feedback should be automatic, not manual in PerformYard, also review a month should be based on the start date automatically, and then we should get an edit option if required.

For performance management, it is well suited, whenever I assign 30 days and 90 days of feedback it's very easy as I can assign it to more than one employee. Also, multiple users can use it simultaneously with the same credentials and make changes in real-time.
